Both tried and failed because they could not gather enough senators to stop the decision of the chair from sustaining.

In Jan 2022, Schumer made a point on order to remove fillibuster for voting rights legislation. Its appeal against chair decision was not sustained so it could not go through. It failed 52-48. 2 Democrat senators voted with republicans to stop it.

There is no procedural or constitutional issue in using nuclear option for legislation. It is basically issue of establishing consensus among senators of even one's own party.

Again, why there are not enough people to support the motion when they both have senate majority.......I mean you do understand what majority mean, right? If they don't have enough support to go over 51/49, they don't have majority to begin with........

As I said, if this is a simple majority thing, both times would have been pass. Especially the time when Trump want to use it in 2018 when they already did one in 2017 to get the SC nomination. This is more than just a "simple majority vote" as you put it.

And there are procedure to follow on any motion tabled on Senate Floor

On the contrary. All decent Pakistani dont want American aid. It normally doesnt go to the people and lines the pockets of Pakistan politicos and army. I for one want aid to stop.
After the Biden experience - Trump cant do any worse.
 
People like it or not here but the Muslim voter who were undecided or outright drop democrats along with GenZ who were sick of Biden administration continuation of Genocide plays a huge role, Democrats has abandoned their Muslim voters, and Israel's Brutal massacre of Gaza/West bank cost Democrats the election, lots of people I was following along with huge following of their also voted for Jill Stein.

I highly doubt people think Trump is going to make life better for those in Gaza. He's more likely to loan the Israelis B-52s.

Biden admin thrown out due to economy, inflation, immigration mayhem, and videos of shoplifting chaos.

I feel sorry for them. They have been conquered and thrown around like a rag doll. So many mixed blood line - especially after the Russian experience in the 80s. Still see plenty of blue eyed Afghani not being able to comprehend why they look the way they do. Its a sad sad situation.
Focusing back on topic. Look at the last few years - things cant be any worse with Trump at the wheel......

Minorities, especially 1st and to some extant 2nd generation immigrants, are largely social conservative. The woke people is in a minority, but still the dems cater to them.
