Firstly, I DO think that Harris would have been far better than Biden or Trump on Palestine IF she were the President. But we will never know that, right: All of you fail to understand: A VP is a backup candidate in case something happens to the President. Please present your evidence as to how many times a VP stood upto her/her President on pressing issues?
First, the genocide in Gaza is not an issue that is hidden from anyone. If Kamala Harris opposed for what Biden, Blinken, and "Israelis" have done, she could've voiced her opposition to the genocide. She did not.
Second, during the election season, she consistently stated that she would back Israel. She denied to give a platform to any Palestinian, Arab, or anyone else who opposes the genocide during her campaign events.
When students and young people who opposed the genocide approached her in a campaign event and asked her to support ceasefire and end of the genocide, she told them to shut up.
Michael Moore and many others who approached her campaign and advised her on how to communicate with Arab and Muslim Americans and also the larger antiwar movement stated she rejected all of their efforts.
Seriously, VP Harris did not want the vote of the people who wanted he genocide in Gaza to end. She and her advisers made a conscious decision to accept the wishes and whims of AIPAC over these people.
And you can teach the 'future Democrats' all the lessons for the next nth election cycles while the Israelis and their backers are LAUGHING at your logic of enabling the Trump win: I have seen enough online in last few days alone to make that claim. But go on! Go right on and do the Einstein definition of madness for the next nth election cycles!!
Trump won in a landslide victory. It was not just Arabs and Muslim Americans who opposed Harris. This whole Biden-Harris led administration was very unpopular. They lost all of the battleground states.
And if "Israelis" are happy with his win, they were happy with Biden as well as he's consistently supported them with arms, intelligence and defended them in the UNSC. They would've even been happier with VP Harris as well. There is really no difference between Republicans and Democrats when it comes to "Israel".
