The bill ALREADY PASSED back in April this year.

He can't donate anything unless it's his own money. The bill is not a ceiling either, the congress is not just going to sit in the house and arbitrarily said "We are going to give Ukraine 61 billions". A bill tabled would have a detail list of what the Defence Department want to give to Ukraine so they can come up with the 61 billion dollars figure.

And once the bill pass, they can't just stop it, because you WILL go to jail for contempt of congress, I don't know what kind of Parliament you had in Canada, MP won't just say "Oh the Parliament session was wrong, and I amma do nothing" Maybe you do in Canada, in the US, when congress pass a bill, the head of department follows it, or there WILL be a congressional hearing, and people are going to jail

Trump can't ask the Secretary to go to jail, especially when he has no power to pardon it, as that was a misdemeanor, he can only pardon felony. Ask Steve Bannon how he felt going to jail for Trump?

The bills specifies the maximum amount of 13 billion dollars. The POTUS does not have to give the maximum amount. In fact, Tramp won't give a single cent to Ukraine. Biden only gave like half of the maximum amount of 13 billion dollars.

There is 7 billion left. But what difference does it make? It's only enough for some 155 mm shells. It's not going to change the tide of battle. More and more of Donbas will be lost. By the end of next year Ukrainian Donbas will shrink to like half of what it is now.

NK is using the conflict as a way to take as much as it can from Russia. I doubt it's anything more than that.

What people failed to see is "People" is not soldier. So more "people" in a country does not equate to more soldiers.......

You need to be seriously train to be a soldier and execute maneuver and tactics in war, if I just plug a person on the street and give him a rifle and tell him to assault, he/she won't last 5 second. And training/doctrine development take times, time Russia don't have.

The force regeneration aspect of war is you need to keep pumping up enough "people" in the pipeline and turn them into soldier, which require a large deal of resource, equipment and time. All of which is what Russia is lacking at the moment, any spare resource they have, any spare equipment they have, it would have ended up in the frontline first, and then they don't have enough time to train a soldier from nothing to everything. You need a year and a half to 2 years for that. That's why he is going after international PMC (a lot of African and Chinese merc fought for Russia in Ukraine) and the North Korean, the issue here is, can they sustain that effort with just that as well?

Good point, and the answer (at least to me) seems to be no. Russia is running out of soldiers and doesn't have the luxury of time to train more, thus it's hiring PMCs and trading tech with the DPRK in exchange for soldiers.

I honestly do not think Russia can sustain itself in Ukraine.

The Ukrainians are fighting to exist, so they'll find to the end. The Russians don't have this problem, which is why we're seeing so many people leave Russia since 2022 (it's also why Russia restricted emigration after 2022).

SK has a mutual defense pacts with the US, NK's deal with Russia isn't all that clear.

Will Russia risk direct conflict with the US? Again, I'm betting no.

Russia would 100% supply the North though, just as a ef you to the US.

NK will almost certainly gain newer missile tech, as well as actual tank technology, as well as possibly newer fighter jets to replace or augment their ancient fleet.

In 20-30 years, no one will be buying gas cars except people in dirt poor countries like India/Pakistan/BD and African countries.

the combination of EV/renewables with US domestic production will break the will of oil producers. It already has.

I have noticed Ukrainian POWs on captured videos they are all speaking Russian fluently. This war needs to end now. Coming back to the original question what Trump winning means for Kiev. I can say it looks like that the Trump supporters really see Ukrainian as an insignificant issue. Their main issue is the immediate world around them, they I think are real isolationists. Sort of what USA was like in the 1930s. For some this is good news for others not there is nothing you can do to change that.
