But lets put something together- why would Turkey's president and govt publicly announce its ''cutting ties with Israel" when its not really doing so?

To me, its because Erdogan wants to stall a potential Turkish spring 2.0/revolution due to anger against Israel's genocide by PRETENDING Turkey's govt is really on the same side as the Turkish public. If this is true, we will probably see protests against the TUrkish govt soon...the Turkish public will soon take action against their Zionist controlled and NATO- slaved govt.

Ummmmm.....true. But lets give Pakistan some credit in this art- its found a way to curry favors, resources, money, weapons protection, investment etc from BOTH US and China. Seems like China dominates Pakistan's economy while US dominates Pakistan's govt and military.

USA interests is keep people fighting each other in the land they parasite resources, because it keeps a low internal resources consumption.

Libya and Iraq are the new paradigm of USA domination to get resources.
Endless fights, no order, to keep them underdeveloped, impoverished and exporting so much and consuming so little.

So how can Israel be ready for war with Iran when Gaza and Hezbollah and Houthis have already crippled the IDF's ground forces fighting size (#s) and recruitment capabilities?? Israel is a freaking paper tiger.

There was no sarcasm at all, in intent. If it came out in reality I withdraw it.

But my message stands. Battles are won on training, logistics, strategy, tactics and the application of maximum force at a point.

That’s how it has always been, despite romanticised versions of man to man or single combat.

Should the Iran Iraq war, World War 2, French Vietnamese wars have been fought man to man?

That was my point.

Yes what matters is national, unit and individual morale during war time. This impels a person to fight harder or not at all.

One can argue that the Iranian or Hezbollah’s morale is higher than Israeli resolve (and that’s an interesting debate) but that, realistically, as about man to man as it gets.

I see what you are saying but not only you but Israelis, until recently, missed the point about this is not a 'conventional' war and one cannot absolutely apply the 'conventional' war logic to this conflict.
It is already obvious that the same IDF which famously won the 'Six Day War' is bogged down in Gaza and taking significant losses in southern Lebanon. The inability of the IDF to engage 'man to man' is IDF's big weakness. There is no doubt about it that Israelis realize their conventional limitations in an assymetrical war and thus they want to drag the Americans in an ultimately futile attempt to win the war.
You have applied very wrong paradigms for this conflict, in short.

Let us agree to disagree then.

On the ongoing conflict itself, I think that Israel would prefer stand-off warfare, even with their trains troops, hence their use of tech, while Hezbollah would probably want more to draw Israel into a house to house confrontation, even though they have better missile tech than expected, at closer ranges.

It’s all about using whatever advantage you can get.
