Iran has a regime that has no place in a modern civilised world. Do what you gotta do, Iran, and you'll suffer the proper consequences. Irrational Middle Easterners , to put it frankly

Technically there are plenty more regimes that don’t fit in the definition of a “modern world”

But - it has mismanaged the interests of the Iranian people in many aspects but has also helped expand influence.

I am a native Canadian and the comments of some people here are crazy. I am of no religion, I have no family or friends in the Middle East and I have a more neutral view of people who engage in blind patriotism.

It is absurd and unbelievable to see so many thoughtless people with a great lack of information saying that Pakistan could crush a regional superpower like Iran militarily. People have the right to fantasize, to wish for things in their imaginations of blind patriotism, but the facts on the ground are very different.

Iran is much more powerful than Pakistan in various dimensions, this is an indisputable fact for neutral and detached minds like me who see this from afar

But you have the right to dream and fantasize, no law prohibits it!

But beyond all that, there is manipulation of elites on a large scale and citizens will pay the price. The representative of Pakistan and Iranians were at the World Economic Forum (globalist structure) should spark thoughts in you and quickly!

The most logical action - would be to hit a similar target that may be known in Iran for a different group via escalated weapons for public consumption while the saner heads solve everything via back channels.

Just wait for India to do the same next time with missiles instead of Mirages. Are there any sane heads at the helm? I have my doubts. This is a huge escalation but our army is busy with internal politicking. I bet, had Iran not disclosed this attack itself first, Pakistan would not have even raised it. It was interesting that the first reports of the strikes came from Iranian news channels hours before Pakistan said anything about it

Some Iranian channels are saying if we didn't admit it, Pakistan probably wouldn't have even known about it

I don't see Iranians here claiming otherwise. Iran has no desire for a war with any of its neighbours, and definitely not Pakistan, that would be extremely foolish and lose-lose for everyone involved

Neither does Pakistan, did you not see the CBMs mentioned between Pakistan and Iran earlier on in this thread?

Did you skip over the part when we said this is most irregular a development?

Or did you skip the part when one of your countrymen called Pakistanis “terrorist breed?”

Finally, it was Iran that has launched missiles against us so you will forgive me if I’m going to take any olive branch with a heavy dose of skepticism.

There was supposed to have been a joint pakistan-iran rapid reaction force created,however that was agreed by imran khan and rouhani back in 2019.
But now that khan is kaput and a more,shall we say,us friendly regime installed,this sort of thing seems [sadly] rather unlikely.

What is CBM? So far I see Pakistanis baying for war/Iranian blood. Iranians only want to target terrorists. Seems like a slight difference to me, but I understand Pakistani sovereignty was infringed so there is anger

You guys obviously know Pakistani politics better than me, but I give almost 0% chance for any Pakistani response to this. In my opinion, the best solution is to work together to target terrorists on both sides of the border, this way Pakistan can take part in anti-terrorist operations on Iran's side of the border (and vice versa) and we can avoid violations of sovereignty (noting it was Iran that violated Pakistan's sovereignty today, and Pakistan cannot be expected to just accept this)
