We should have had an entire lineup of domestic armoured vehicles by now yet here we are where HIT has to licence a foreign MRAP design.i think people do not give HIT enough credit. They seriously indigenised alot of AK and also alot of Haider. Do they have the capabilities to design a clean sheet vehicle, yes, but i suspect its more to do with priority and allocation of limited resources.
i suspect its an import, but yeah, even rasoob is likely a variant of sarkash based on the same fundamentals just optimised for a different missionI think NESCOM has finally mastered the Turbojet engine technology so we are seeing a lot of designs around it.
Interesting that it’s Rasoob-250. That means there will be others in Rasoob family. We've come full circle on this article I wrote back in 2016:

Rasoob was mentioned in MODP report done 7 years ago as underdevelopment.i suspect its an import, but yeah, even rasoob is likely a variant of sarkash based on the same fundamentals just optimised for a different mission
But it would have likely have been low priority until recently where it was likely sped up to make Shahpar 3 a more complete package.Rasoob was mentioned in MODP report done 7 years ago as underdevelopment.
We don’t know. It’s not exclusive to Shahpar and can be launched from multiple platforms. But it would have likely have been low priority until recently where it was likely sped up to make Shahpar 3 a more complete package.
