Indeed Iranian drones can only dream of achieving that number. Forget Iran but nobody in the world can beat this record of being shot down 29 times in a single theatre

Seems that the Ababil 2 has received same seeker than Almas missile. That makes it pin-point accuracy. But how the hell can operator designate the target?, AI target recognition?.

The invincibility of Shahed-136 that you can intentionally send 29 of them in kamikaze mission just to troll the enemy, and they are still just part of the cost of one, just 1 Bayraktar...

Iran can develop many other concepts in the drone sector, but must keep this unique masterpiece without doubt...in this way...

This is not direct answer, but catch the point of main difference in Iranian and turkish drones concepts... while turkish establishment wants all-inclusive approach, with omnipotent drone that can go to finish the job on its own...like last Azeri-Armenian conflict...

For Iranians it's just one piece of the mosaic, with role that is adapted to the actual situation and conditions...

There is not right of wrong here, if we are honest... last military turkish conflict was with armenia, and various African tribes...and Bayraktar was great...until Russia came as opponent...

Iran is in conflict with major global military powers, and turkish concept would be pointless for Iran...

Just different approaches....this is my constructive opinion...

29 confirmed Bayraktar TB2 shot down means something like 150 Million USD of Ukraine just burnt in the air and I am just counting the drone itself, not the munitions that were burnt with it.

With modernization of Airdefences, these old slow drones are becoming useless with time. 150 Million USD could have provided Ukraine 6 x F-16C for example.

TB-2 UCAVs destroyed hundreds of Russian military equpment including BUK and TOR SAMs and hundreds of Russian troops also oil train and Naval units

Russian losses exceed $150 million and they also lost hundreds of soldiers

btw Ukraine had no Air Force and AD Systems to protect TB-2 UCAVs in the conflict zone ...

As far as I know Iranian drones are world class systems, cost effective, and with proven longevity in various combat theaters.

There are plenty of videos of Ukroid air defenses trying to shoot down Shaheds. Be serious.

Only drones Ukroids are using now are fpvs and light recon drones. No videos of Beyraktars are being released anymore, because they can't operate against Russian AD.

modern AD Systems , MANPADS and SPAAGs easly can shot down low speed Shaheeds
