Pakistan's @ForeignOfficePk spox officially announces that Pakistan has decided to RECALL its Ambassador from Iran and the Irani Ambassador to Pakistan has been asked NOT to return to Pak, the High Level visits planned with Iran stand SUSPENDED.

I don't think there will be any retaliatory strikes against Iran. Doing that will only push India and Iran closer, and maybe even Iran allowing Indian assets close to Pakistan. However, Pakistan had to retaliate against India because....well, it's India. Both countries are mutual enemies and hell bent on destroying each other. The Pak military doesn't want to stretch itself unnecessarily, and keep the bulk of its focus and assets targeted towards India and its eastern border. This is a game of chess.

With Iran, there's no reason to escalate. In fact, the Balochi separatists are enemies of both countries, so I don't see why they don't work closer against these organizations. It seems that both countries will tackle them on their home soil, but allow them to attack each other. Completely pointless strategy.
The fault lies with Iran squarely, they have forced Pakistan's hand. Killing children is unacceptable and violating our sovereignty too. Pakistan is well with in it's rights to retaliate appropriately.

🫡 Oh come on!!!!

Other than the political mileage which Modi hoped to extract, Indian strikes in Balakot had a goal and that was to create a space within the sub-conventional conflict boundary while not escalating into the nuclear domain.

Iran has all but cemented that argument after Panjgur strikes.

Amazing how no one has picked up on this.

That's precisely why Pakistan had no choice but to retaliate against India! Iran is not a nuclear state, at least overtly, and therefore there's reason to retaliate and risk escalation that would be costly for both nations, as there's nothing to prove. Besides, the Americans already broken the conventional threshold of Pakistan during the war on terror.

As i said "the new Norm" what India created and we by not responding vicously at SWIFT RETORT I by cleaning the house.

made the way for likes of Iran to conduct missile strikes on a nuclear armed nation without fearing consequences.

Its a GOD send opportunity to make wrongs right! respond hard! so in future nobody thinks again.

Salaam

What I meant was do you think ISPR is likely to issue a separate statement on the matter given the Foreign Office has already issued one?

Thank you.
Why the f should ISPR be making statements. Foreign office statements should be enough. Faujis undermining civilians again..

7 x H4 raptors or REK by JF17s tageting Zahedan Millitary base would be enough of a message!

People are forgetting how the Iranians fought against the Iraqis...reduced to sending waves of kids to the slaughter. There won't be a risk of that between Pakistan and Iran, too much to lose.
