Not just for IK, but it has become a symbol of the failed justice system; arbitrary and politically motivated.

I'll be frank...

No amount of mass protests will change anything unless the alternative vision promises real change and, as importantly, swiftly removes everyone of the old guard without any chance of a 'comeback' using institutions, laws, US/UK brokers, etc.

Any sincere leader left in Pak will NOT support IK if IK's vision is to get bail and book it to London (while leaving his benefactors out to dry).

And no, promising to be PM again isn't enough. We all saw that last time IK was PM, the corrupt still flourished in Pakistan under him and, later, in spite of him. IK's going to have be a leader that goes beyond the current system, and call for something much, much greater than preserving the very structural realities that brought Pakistan up to this point.

There isn’t enough impetus and IK isn’t a smart man. He is a pied piper in my view.
