slightly unfair comparison given iran does not share a border with syria but your wider point on intelligence failures is true

traitors is a quite strong word but I think traitors are those who refuse to accept reality and prefer to live in their dreams and tell others everything is fine when it is not

HTS terrorists are reportedly beheading everyone including civilians and practicing cannibalism on dead bodies, multiple videos online shows beheading, gutting and dismembering of people

HTS is mainly comprised of wahabi jihadists, especially Chechen beheaders

Cannibalism, beheading and gutting are the same practices that occurs daily in Ukraine and ISIS in Syria/Iraq

Aleppo could fall by the morning at this rate.

So many Iranian and Shiite blood died to take this city and Solemani spent so much time for that battle.
 
Bruh what's happening? I saw a video of HTS fighters at Aleppo Citadel; thats deep in Aleppo. Looks like SAA is on a complete rout. Too many pictures and videos captured vehicles, armour etc.
 
Iv lost track of the conflict in Syria and have no idea now what the deal is.

One thing I find strange is Asad has been avoiding conflict with Israel so not to weaken his forces, which by and large atleast it seems had worked.

How have their forces been routed so quickly, makes me wonder if a large contingent of Hezbollah forces were supporting Asad and his forces and the full blown war with Israel diverted resources and weakened them. Maybe Hezbollah were cautious in attacking Israel with strategic weapons for this reason to defend the Syrian army.

Doesn’t look like there were any proper defensive lines set up.

I think SAA thought the war was over and didn’t expect any large scale operations.

It’s going to take time to mobilize and bring enough troops and equipment. Retaking the city will be costly and destructive.

Did Israel share a border with Iran when they killed Fakhrizadeh, Quds force officers, nuclear scientists, ismail haniyeh inside Iran?

All Iran has tens potentially over a 100 military bases and outposts inside Syria including drone teams and intelligence gathering forces.

So this thinking that Iran doesn’t have the resources to hunt down terrorist leaders in Idlib is nonsense.

This is why I dont believe in frozen conflicts. SAA got easy and HTS/SNA alliance pounced after taking their time and now you see them with drones, loitering munitions, proper HQs coordinating ops. Someone did a proper investment lol

Reinforcements are being sent to the front. This will all be reversed eventually, but it will cost Iran in blood and treasure.
