Biggest enemy of Pakistan: nepotism, corrupt politicians, tribalism, sardars/khans/tribal heads, corrupt army generals, internal terrorists, low level of education.
Biggest enemy of Iran: nepotism, corrupt politicians and generals hidden in Islamic cover.
Fake nationalism/patriotism/Islamiyat and other "useless" emotions will not clean and clear up our countries from these problems.
Agreed and attacking with Missiles definitely won't help in solving anyone of these issues 👍🏻

Biggest mistake of Iran and Pakistan was not building high-tech security wall between their countries. The region would become way more secure and it would prevent smuggling, tax evasion, terrorism. For the politicians in Iran and Pakistan... Priority is nepotism and self enrichment, not prevention of problems. When problems occur, they want cheap solutions like imprisonment or missiles. It does not work like that, those thing should be the last tools in the toolbox. Ofcourse terrorism should be fought against, but not without other measures. General poverty and corruption that becomes normalized and institutional in countries like Iran and Pakistan... those factors will create silent dangers such as terrorism.

You seem to be [deliberately?] ignoring the fact that you have terror groups operating on your own territory and attacking your neighbor, while your government [both current and previous] have allowed this situation to continue unchecked for decades.
This either means that the pakistani government is deliberately allowing these groups to operate on its territory and is complicit in these attacks,or it is simply unable to control parts of its own territory which have effectively become lawless sanctuaries for the terrorists.
Both of these scenarios look pretty bad for obvious reasons.

This might come as a shock to you but there was an initiative to create a joint iran-pakistan rapid reaction force to deal with cross border terrorism, this was agreed by both imran khan and rouhani, tho after khans replacement by a more.....shall we say..."western friendly" regime,I would imagine that this initiative basically went nowhere, pity really.

By the way, just out of curiosity, did you guys ever get around to getting your side of the border fence finished?
😏

Pakistan has cooperated multiple times against anti Iran militant groups in the region. It's Iran that refuses to act against anti Pakistan miltant groups.

Google , the name Gulbushan Jhadav came through Iran?

So how this Indian terrorist avoid all Irans security apparatus on the border?

Thats simple they gave him Iranian documentation and passport to travel to Pakistan commit killings.

So how many other terrorists did Iran let in who are now running around killing Pakistanis?

Pakistan uses these terror groups for various purposes. They do promise to take action, but that promise is made only to take away pressure. No real intention to act.

I have a theory, the Pakistan Army wants to get rid of some of these militant organizations. However, they cannot target them directly. So they have delegated to others. Iran in this case and Unknown men in some other case. Unknown men are nothing but ISI operatives, trying to clear unused idiots.

No - it is quite obvious that no one in Pakistan saw this coming - let alone be in on the decision making cycle. This madness belongs to Iran, and Iran alone ..

True, they had to attack someone to save face at home, for all the internationally acclaimed humiliation they are getting.
