Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) Rallies / Protests

A major flaw in your post is that Sadaam didn't have mass popular support.
Does SS have popular support?
Since when has being homogeneous been the main ingredient for success, look at the US the most powerful nation military and economic wIse. I do agree for developing states it does help.
America didn't even give blacks equal rights until 1964. They had their taste of liberalism and tolerance and now their youth are becoming more right wing and racist.

Even then, America is surrounded by two massive oceans and two relatively far weaker allied nations. As well as a strong economy, military, etc.

Pakistan is surrounded by namak haram backstabbing nations who claim more than half our land and/or want to genocide our people and/or religion. Our only ally is separated from us by 100+ km of the tallest mountains in the planet. Our population is largely jaahil (<58% literacy rate [the standard for which is being able to merely write your own name]). And the writ of the federal government is extremely weak as it is.

Pakistan is going to end up worse than Gaza in case of a violent revolution.

Just as approximately 65 bodies of innocents killed in Islamabad's Red Mosque Operation in 2007, w
Ah, the mullah commanders who ran away in burqas are your latest abu.

Metric fail

Saying when PTI used big fans to , return the tear gas at police , the gas travelled with speed of many KM/hour and penetrated all the bodies of all people other side, as if it was not gas but a Rocket launched Rocket

Breaking News: A glimpse of DGISPR yesterday visit to NUST after Islamabad bloodbath, in an attempt to pacify the situation.

A v brave boy asked him abt matiullah
jan's abduction, arshad's murder, 2023 elections, and mentioned how ppl have lost all trust in the idara and pak studies. He also mentioned that he knows he might get abducted too after this (this ques made him fume w anger)

Someone asked about why they've built dha multan on agricultural land (Cz he yapped abt Pakistani resources in the answer of prev ques)
A ques about twitter & vpn ban was also asked.
Someone asked him what's USA's interest in Pakistan, that we give them air bases to attack Afg?

Why did we become a part of someone else's war?
A girl asked him what did they expect students to do after making them leave hostels & closing all exits of isb at once? Why was the capital sealed for 5 days?

Crowd: "Apny logon pe goli kesy chala dee"
DG: "apny goli chalty huay dekhi?" Crowd aloud: "jee humne dekhi"
DG: "kia saboot hai apky paas" Crowd: "video evidences hain"
DG "apky paas evidence hai tou courts mai jayen"
Crowd: *laughs out loud*

What exactly was the end game of this protest ?
1. IK is in jail because of verdict of court ( you may question the verdict bit that's a different matter)
2. Only courts can overturn the verdict.
3. The march to D chowk or islamabad is not going to change the verdict.
4. If the idea was to put pressure on establishment then also islamabad is abad choice. Either protest in front of GHQ or Supreme Court or PM office.
5. Can any point out one benefit of occupying D Chowk in Islamabad ?

We will not forgive him, Mr. General even he wants to be.

I don't have no much idea about the consequences of the current protest. But going by the history of previous protests ( Late Fatima Jinna, 1971 Debacle, Bhutto protests, lawyers movement etc) I don't have much hope either.

At that time, the media was controlled, we were taught to understand what death meant, now this is a digital world, you can't change anyone's opinion because someone makes Ramadan video from their mobile and destroys perception.. We don't know what happened in Bangladesh, we read what was told to us in the news, but today we are watching it live on Cameras . Today legacy media is fucked up it’s a world of X and telegram.

Lal Masjid Operation was a different issue altogether. If I recall, they trespassed and took over the premises illegally.

There were militants holed up with heavy gun machinery and rocket launchers.

The government gave them ample time to surrender but they did not budge. Unfortunately for the right reason the army had to go in and clean it up.

The militants who got released, ended up becoming TTP members.

In hindsight, the state should have been even more brutal and made sure they faced the full force of law for creating a mess in the capital city.

I understand that there have been alot of fumbles made by the military establishment but this is certainly not one of them.

The only mistake with Lal Masjid is that it was not razed to the ground; even now, they still occupy that location, and it's a hotbed for future disturbance.
