They need to set up an interim government immediately with full support of the U.N and global powers. A stable Syria is a must.

revolutions are chaotic and unpredictable

there are too many armed competing factions in Syria still, I fear there will be dark days ahead

is HTS ready to supply order and electricity to all the new cities they control?

The moment the Prime Minister of the Syrian regime, Muhammad Ghazi Al-Jalali, left his home and headed to a hotel in Damascus to hand over power to the leadership of the “Military Operations Department”

Looks like the balance of power in middle East changed significantly in the last few months. Iran's axis of resistance is in big trouble. Hizbullah is hurting, and the West will most likely make their move against houthis.

This by no means an end to the Syrian civil war. HTS and SNA will now try to gain dominance over each other and SNA and HTS will try to deal with Kurds who is supported by American air power and advisors. Spread of salafist groups might threaten the stability of Jordan and Iraq down the line.

Biggest winner is Israel. Crazy how they maged to gain back their dominance in the region. Just 3-4 months ago, their position looked difficult.

Since 2011, the position of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been and continues to be supportive of the fate of the Syrian people and their territorial integrity and stability, and against the foreign interventions that killed the Syrians and tried to determine their fate. The Kingdom clashed for their sake with Iran, America (Obama), regional countries, militias, and with the entire world after we saw the nations’ attack on the people of Yemen and Syria. And Egypt is trying to suppress them, as the Kingdom held summits and hosted opposition factions to unite them They dispersed and moved its diplomats to stop the machine of killing Syrians and plundering their wealth.

During 14 years, generations of Syrians (3 million residents, not refugees) were born and lived in beloved Saudi Arabia, and they never felt that they were strangers or refugees. Rather, Saudi Arabia ordered their free treatment, their studies, and allowing them to work and hosting them in Saudi homes, in their cities, and in their neighborhoods, without camps, shelters, or international
isolation.

Yet the same dictators and regimes welcomed Bashar Al-Assad back to the Arab League? What kind of retarded behavior is that? Even though 90% + of all Arabs across the Arab world were and are anti-Al-Assad regime? Not because he happens to be an Alawite (most likely non-practicing) but because of the horrors of that regime and their supporters.

Look at what the Syrian people did to the Iranian embassy in Damascus (and elsewhere). The stupid Mullah's in Iran basically made an enemy of Syria for the next at least 50 years. Syrians will not forget who oppressed and helped kill them.

Putin confirms that Assad ordered a peaceful transfer of power and told SAA not to fight

Nothing will change. In the next few months, ISIS will be stronger than ever before. The problem is that major and regional powers must cooperate so they can find a solution for Syria's future. Other than that, Syria will never leave this vicious circle.

The Zionist occupation army launches a major attack inside Syrian territory and crosses the iron fence to impose a safe and buffer zone at the border in Quneitra.. and people rejoice and celebrate the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad. The Zionists are penetrating into Syrian territory and occupying large areas. Let’s continue the celebrations while Syria is being violated by the entity.

Problem is the Arab regimes (dictatorships) in the region and the Iranian dictatorship. That an outsiders meddling in the region, in particular Arab world, due to it being the most strategic location on earth and the richest area in the world in terms of resources and being the heartland of civilizations since millennia, thus always attracting powers.

If outside meddling did not occur most Syrians would be able to put aside their difference and create a bright future for Syria and Syrians.

UAE in particular and their role in the region should be more condemned. Al-Assad is most likely in the UAE right now. UAE until the end tried to save the regime. They are afraid of democracy and the will of the people.

The less said about their demonic role in Sudan the better as well.

Absolute filthy and megalomanical regime. KSA should annex the UAE one day.

Statement by the Prime Minister of Damascus 🚨:

I only know this country and I don't want to escape.
Ready to officially hand over government work to the opposition.
Do not waste these properties and your official institutions in order for us to become a normal state.
