So more than the 5 officially admitted. As I wrote, according to sources on the ground (Iraqi) and well-informed Arab ones, the number of killed was way bigger than the admitted 32. One just needs to look at the scale of destruction of those terrorist cult headquarters across 7 regions in Iraq. It was no small attack.

Many sources also state that the Iraqi government was part of the operation and that they helped giving locations of terrorists on the ground. In any case you would need intel on the ground for such large scale successful attacks.

Lots of talk of interceptor stockpile shortage. Lockheed should deliver around 700 PAC-3 MSEs this year. They’re building out to 2,000/year by 2030. I hope the Pentagon is telling foreign customers they’ll have to wait until US stocks are sufficiently replenished.

Biggest issue has been Congress not committing to procurement and production expansion. 2,500 PAC-3s were never enough, especially with the 2 interceptors per 1 missile doctrine. It seems the Pentagon finally gets it, but it will take 5 years to get to where we need to be on production.
A lot of interceptions in KSA (albeit not targeted much) and the smaller GCC states, are done by locally made (in the case of KSA and UAE) suicide interceptor drones and Ukrainian imported suicide interceptor drones. Which are now being produced (1 defense firm in KSA produces 1000 of them each month now) on a massive scale and they are very cheap.

Irans stockpile issues are even worse. 1,500 missiles left, with most of their production capacity destroyed. Their volume of fire dropped to 5–10 missiles per day. Even at 10 missiles a day, their stock is gone by the end of the year. It’s why they can’t escalate against US bases or Israel.

The whole fear of escalation due to regional oil and gas infrastructure being hit - is also vastly overstated.

All of Kuwait's oil and gas wells and infrastructure was set ablaze by Saddam's Iraq during the First Gulf War. Small Kuwait is still standing. Iranian drones and missiles cannot even remotely cause the same damage as back then.

In return their entire oil and gas infrastructure will be utterly destroyed with no way for them to rebuild it again financially. That will mean regime collapse for them very quickly. More so when all of their oil and gas is located in a very small part of Iran (Ahwaz/Khuzestan), half of which is inhabited by Arabs. Kharg island (tiny island) is their main oil and gas processing hub. If I am not wrong 90-95% of it is being exported and processed from that tiny island.

The North Fars gas field (that they share with Qatar), is also incredibly easy to destroy.

Just 2 targets alone and their entire economy and regime collapses within weeks.

Either that or nobody in the region is really interested in any regime change in Iran and prefers a weakened, impoverished and sanctioned Iran.

The ones ruling Iran prefer it that way as well, I believe, so they can continue to use Iran as a personal piggy bank while many of their relatives live in the West or abroad in the region.

EDIT: A major regional war will also make it easier for KSA to permanently annex those small GCC states that for 95-99% of recorded history belonged to ancient civilizations, cultures, empires, caliphates, kingdoms, sultanates, emirates, imamates, sheikdoms etc. based in modern-day KSA (Arabia) or ruled by people from modern-day KSA.

That would be an added bonus but I highly doubt that the US or anyone else would be interested in that.:ROFLMAO: The US started the largest troop deployment since WW2 in Kuwait due to such exact behavior (Saddam's invasion of Kuwait).

... By 2050, Yemen will have a population of over 100 + million people (larger than both Turkiye and Iran by then) so we cannot, long-term, in an ideal world, have a failed neighbor in such a state.
Current estimated population:
Iran: 92 million
Turkiye: 86 million
Yemen: 33 million

Sounds impossible to more than the triple population of Yemen in just 24 years. 🤔

Yemen's population is currently estimated to be 43 million:

HOWEVER it is likely much greater as an official census has not been made for almost 15 years and Yemen has one of the world's highest fertility rates.

4.41 child per women.

There are various estimates of course and none is certain. Worldometer claims 71 million.

In any case, the population by 2050, much like that of the wider Arab world, will be massive, so unless they get their house in order, their problems and challenges will multiply with more mouths to feed and problems remaining unsolved.

Also Turkiye's population includes millions of refugees (Arabs alone are estimated to number 5 million in Turkiye) and similar with Iran's official numbers (millions of Afghans).

Both of their fertility rates are sharply declining and so will their populations. In a few decades time from now, Iraq and Yemen alone will have 1.5 times larger population than Turkiye and Iran combined.

Iraq population (estimated) in 2026. 48 million.

Worldometer claims estimated 72 million by 2050 as well, strangely enough.

But statistics, predictions and semantics aside, Yemen (Houthi controlled part in particular) has the choice of remaining a failed state or develop and progress like a sane state and actor. My estimation is that this will never occur with a backward terrorist cult (Houthis) around. It does not work anywhere with such people in power.

Sudan population (another Arab neighbor of KSA):

is currently estimated to be 56 million (but again likely much higher due to the same reasons as in Yemen and partially in Iraq).

By 2050 it is estimated to be 85 million by that same source.

So 3 Arab countries alone (Iraq, Yemen and Sudan - all neighbors of KSA) will have a combined estimated population of around 230 million in just 24 years. With further continued population increase.

Another Arab neighbor of KSA (Egypt - country number 4 on that little list) has a population of 121 million in 2026 (likely higher as well):

By 2050 estimated to be around 161 million by the same source.

So 4 Arab neighbors of KSA alone will have a 400 million big population in just 24 years time.

9/11 was longer ago in comparison.

Compare the population of those countries just 2-3 generations ago.

Small Syria will have around 40 million people by 2050:

That's almost 0.5 billion people in 5 Arab nations next to KSA alone - all unstable, war-torn etc.

So if the Arab world as a collective wants to advance and even be remotely as advanced as it was for much of recorded history where it was one of the world's most advanced regions for millennia, 1 of the many actions that need to be taken is for regimes to focus on the well-being of their people and countries - terrorist cults usually don't do that as evident of what the entire world can see.

definitely think Iran is playing the proactive role now not waiting for Trump or Israel to respond and I definitely believe they hit a site that Trump is pissed off about seems like all of these aircraft are being moved to Israel for a simple reason they can’t be defended in Jordan anymore……damn Katz for letting the cat out of the bag the next round will be directed at Israel I think Bibi needs this war to spill into Israel so he can attempt to pushback elections for months

  1. Iran will initiate the next strike on Israel.
  2. Bibi desperately needs the war.
Are you trying to say that Iran is going to save Bibi from elections? 😱

🤦 no I’m saying Bibi has been attempting to their own version of Marshall law and struck down by their own Court saying it was unlawful to not hold elections even during war but if these missiles are flying during their elections he may try again………dude just read it up it’s there if you want to find it I’m saying Bibi doesn’t care how many people die in Israel or Iran or American troops or Arabs he’s willing to see millions die for him to stay in power that’s the truth

They're still living in their own delusional reality. Their fanatical IRGC simply forgot to sign any meaningful defence pacts with any of their so-called "allies".
  • I mean why on Earth would Russia help Iran defeat Israel when 1.8 million Israelis are Russians?
  • Similarly, Pakistan is never going to choose Iran over the Arab world when around four million Pakistanis live and work in the Arab world.
  • Similarly, why would China sacrifice its extensive trade with the GCC for Iran?
  • India thinks Iran is run by fanatics that can be used like a condom when it suits them and discard it when it doesn't without any consequences.
At the end of the day, all Iran has done over the past 47 years is act as a regional troublemaker. It has isolated itself, has few genuine friends or allies, yet still seems to believe the world revolves around it.

To me, that's 47 years of incompetence and living in an alternative reality.
Who are these few genuine friends?
