Look my Irani friend. Nobody has a problem with Shia. At least not Arabs. You probably already know that Shias are native to the Arab world and the first and oldest Shia communities are found in the Arab world in particular in modern-day KSA where they live safe and peacefully. The problem of us Arabs that are against your regime's destructive meddling in the Arab world, is that you use cheap religious slogans, helped a bloodthirsty dictator in Al-Assad (even though he was a self-proclaimed secular Ba'athi Arab nationalist and you claim to be an Islamic republic and you thought with the same type in Iraq - Saddam), to meddle, brainwash and take advantage of disfranchises Shia Arab minorities from Zaydis in Yemen (that had nothing to do with you until 20 years ago) to Southern Lebanon to Iraqi proxy militias that even the Shia-ruled Iraqi government has and have had problems with. Instead of playing a constructive role you used fake slogans to expand your influence in the Arab world and to take advantage of those small marginal Shia Arab groups aligned to you or whom you supported opportunistically.
Stop trying to take a copyright of Shia Islam. It does not belong to Iran or Iranians.
And in the real world, most Iranians are not even religious or practicing Shia Muslims. You guys have the lowest mosque attendances in the world even though you have claimed to be an Islamic republic for the past 45 years.
You guys really need to stop obsessing about events 1400 years ago and try to have cordial relations with your much bigger Arab neighbors.
I am telling you that by 2050, Yemen alone will have more people than Iran. You already made Syrians (another country experiencing a huge demographic boom) an enemy of you for no reason.
Unlike Iranians here which many I doubt have never travelled outside of Iran or met any Arabs outside of Iran, most Iranians that I have met share much in common with Arabs which is self-evident as neighbors.
You decide what you want to do but the meddling in war-torn Arab countries (only way for you to be able to meddle in the first place) is coming to an end.
Mark my words, in less than 5-10 years, Houthis will be forced to ally with KSA just due to economics alone and the fact that Yemeni and Saudi Arabian people are brotherly people in particular in the border regions. So this project of years has been futile, as seen with events in Syria. It has been 3 years without any events during the ceasefire and daily Saudi Arabian ships are passing the Bab el-Mandeb without any incident so far. And unlike the UAE, that wants to balkanize Yemen, like they are doing in Syria, KSA is so far preventing this from happening. Anyway I have seen positive steps from some Iranian officials of wanting to embrace KSA more, talk of investments and even military exercises in the Red Sea. Those are good steps to have normal and cordial neighborly ties without silly, destructive and time-wasting conflicts.
