And that really is pointing to the ancillary danger - be it warm or cold times in the relationship, Iran and Pakistan share a massive border and need to have more military to military - border command to border command relations to ensure communication and coordination.

Exactly... last time PAF actively patrolled that area was in 2017 when Iranian drones started to fly close to the border. They were first warned and then one was shot down quietly and the Iranians desisted from further activity. Pakistan had played down that incident as if nothing happened.

Correct.... strikers could be Phoenixes (No. 28 sqn from Quetta), or Masroor based No. 2 squadron as they also cover Balochistan coast??

They were thinking to send a strong message to Pak's friends who doesn't have what she has. Now, it has backfired. The Pak Deep State has proved me wrong, once again, for it'll keep it's promise given to her "friends in need" in verbatim.....

This action of Pak, by HIS PERMISSION, has changed the calculus in many a dark capital....

By the by, the Turkish conservative and nationalist media is enthusiastically showing it as a "breaking news". Note that the Turkish military and intelligence have been given a green light to go up to Sulaymaniyah, bordering Iran, and slice out the entire Northern Iraq and sanitize it as a part of the Misak-i Milli (the national resolve, adopted a century ago by the last Ottoman parliament, to not give up the areas which are now parts of the Northern Iraq and Syria)....

No 2 sqn with J-10s providing cover.
@Talon maybe able to confirm but our aircraft did not enter Iranian airspace. Deployed REKs from inside Pak airspace at standoff range.

I would like to believe with the crap that is happening, Pak armed forces esp. Fizza'ya are still very professional and lethal arms. They are more than capable of handling all regional players east or west.
