Irrelevant post. If Pakistan ever had a daring PM, it was Imran khan. He's the one who always said "No" to US drones. He told americans on their face even when he was not PM. He famously said, "I wlll order air cheif to shoot down US drones". So throw your hatred at some other place.

I agree to your other post. Pakistan should cut down army size and focus equally on other two services. Currently, Army takes largest chunk of the budget then its airforce and then the navy.

Great that Iran was given proportionate response, It wasn't first time that Iran attacked Pakistan however this time Iran tried to club Pakistan with Iraq and Syria and used it as punching bag to do stupid messaging and d!ck measuring contest with US & Israel. Firing mortar or shallow incursions to unprotected border is one thing, violating airspace and firing missile 70+ km inside country is altogether different and stupidity, No proportionate response would have encourage Iranians to do such adventures again. I am sad that kids and women are killed because of this unnecessary stupidity, I hope things will become normal. Iran should better focus on playing their games in Iraq, Syria, Lebonan etc. don't get Pakistan dragged into it.

I am sad to see this exchange. It benefits NEITHER country. Who ever started this in Iran did not have the best interest of Iran in their hearts.

Tehran would not have wanted to see a red line of attacking Iran directly crossed… but their madness has forced a red line to be crossed that both the USA and Israel have never ‘todate’ crossed. This will hurt Iran in the future.

This hurts Iran strategically…. Massively.

Pakistan had to respond. There was no way around it.

Hopefully this is the end of it…. Iran has to start working out the consequences of this for them strategically as this will hurt them.

This shows how critical PAF is to the security of Pakistan and how the resources to it must be increased and army decreased….

The strike was sensitive too - no F16s!!!! The optics of that were also considered in the response.

Should've struck IRGC regional headquarters instead of some lowly village huts with poor civilians. Goal is to break Sistan away from Iran, not continued appeasement of the mullah regime.

There's no goal to break any part of Iranian territory, even in the official press release, the targeted areas in Sistan were acknowledged as Iranian.

It's simply to achieve two things:

- Iran has no right to breach Pakistan's sovereignty so carelessly neither will it be tolerated

- Stop harbouring terrorists on Iranian soil that target Pakistan (both sides accuse each other of this)

Weaponry Used by Pakistan​

The weaponry used by the Pakistan Armed Forces in the operation included JF-17 Thunders equipped with REK standoff precision-guided munitions, Wing Loong II drones using precision-guided munitions, loitering munitions from ground and air drones, F-16s employing precision-guided bombs, and A-100 MLRS artillery rockets.


Furthermore, the primary strike package used by Pakistan included JF-17 Thunder fighter jets from the No. 2 ‘Minhasians’ Multirole Squadron, stationed at the PAF Base Masroor in Karachi, under the 39th Tactical Wing of the Southern Air Command PAF.

ANYONE IN THE THREAD CLAIMING EITHER SIDE HAS GOALS TO BREAK ANYONE'S TERRITORY IS LYING.

Both Iranian and Pakistani official press releases acknowledged the full territorial integrity of both sides - however both accuse each other of harbouring terrorists that attack the other's country.

There's no plan to break anyone's country at an official level. Better communication against terrorist groups and not violating each other's sovereignty going forward is the right move.

The answer is simple:
Pakistan has more internal terrorism than Iran so it's logical that pakistan exports more terrorism into Iran than other way around. It's the sad reality. If you don't agree, lets look at the facts: Pakistan recorded the second largest surge in terror-related deaths worldwide in 2022, the toll increasing significantly to 643.

Literacy rate in pakistan is just 60%. Ofcourse this will provide an atmosphere for terrorism. Afghanistan is worse, what should Iran expect from Pakistan and Afghanistan?

Iran made big mistake, Pakistan reminded them of that mistake, brutal and merciless kind of diplomacy but in this world sadly common one.
now when those attacks occurred from both sides, i hope that real talks behind closed door will happen to discuss prevention of such events in future, like the muslim world need another war/tensions between to powerful countries.
