Why? The missiles that killed Pakistani children were fired by IRGC, it is they who should have been targeted in these retaliatory strike. And if BLA was the more appropriate target, why weren't they struck a decade ago?

The response of this kind is enough to send IRGC a message. They claimed they targeted terrorists in our territory and we claim targeting terrorists in their territory. Tit for Tat. Attacking them directly does not benefit Pakistan. 1. We have a massive shia population of our own. The last thing we want is internal/sectarian chaos and bombs going off in every corner of our cities which you have to admit Iran is very good at exploiting this. You just have to look at their history of using these tactics across the Middle East 2. If we attack them directly we open another border front and we simply don't have enough resources. Maybe we can prolong longer if the West and Arabs have our back but in the past our stance had always been to resist Western and Arab pressures to attack Iran for Western and Arab interests

Hideouts used by terrorist organisations namely Balochistan Liberation Army and Balochistan Liberation Front were successfully struck in an intelligence based operation, code name 'Marg Bar Sarmachar'.

The targeted hideouts were being used by notorious terrorists including Dosta alias Chairman, Bajjar alias Soghat, Sahil alias Shafaq, Asghar alias Basham and Wazir alias Wazi, amongst others.

Pakistan Armed Forces remain in a perpetual state of readiness to ensure safety of Pakistan citizens against acts of terrorism.

Our resolve to ensure that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan is respected and safeguarded against any misadventure, remains unwavering. We reaffirm our determination to defeat all enemies of Pakistan with the support of the people of Pakistan.

Going forward, dialogue and cooperation is deemed prudent in resolving bilateral issues between the two neighbouring brotherly countries.
