your previous post was spot on, with international non confronting posture they will remain world factory until allowed, it seems they ignore other aspects of geo policy beside economic relationships, they already lost the war on global scene as they showed that their internal strentgh is not spilled over internationally, west will not spare them to and will tighten the leash even harsher.
Also some users where saying that nobody in the region was reacting to illegal Israeli actions in southern Syria. Practically every Arab country has officially condemned Israel. Problem is that not much can be done about it due to the situation in Syria, Lebanon/Hezbollah next door not being able to do anything to stop it and the less said about Jordan the better. This cannot continue even though Israel claims it is temporary but nobody believes their fairytales. They have zero credibility and are a terrorist state.

China throughout its entire history has never expanded much outside of their historical borders so their current cautious and even inactive policies outside of mainland China are normal. I am not the least surprised and I don't think that it will change. With the future demographic collapse in China even less so.
They never played a role anywhere outside East Asia itself.
Indeed. I think that they had no other choice due to allying against first ISIS and later the Al-Assad regime. Now that both are no longer there, the point of allying with the SDF and not Syria itself is not meaningful any longer.
However as I discussed with @hyperman , I think it is a question of time before SDF loses at least 90% of their territory which is non-Kurdish inhabited but majority Arab inhabited. I don't think that the Turkmens and the small Assyrian (they really dislike Kurds for historical reasons) communities want any part of it.
The only troublemaker in this regard is the sponsor (USA) and partner (Israel).
It is a difficult situation but due to geography only Turkey can defeat the YPG/PKK elements and end that failed project. I hope and trust that they will be able to.
No, Syrians will rule Syria. They did not kick out the Al-Assad regime/Russia/Wagner/Iran/100's of foreign Shia militia terrorist groups, just for others to take their place and "rule" them.
However the unintended consequences of the "Liberators" backed by the mighty Turks is - a few 100km of the Turks and a few juicy 100km for the Israeli. No one lifts an eye - no confrontation - just land gain for Netanyahu.
Lets blame the nasty Shia or vicious Sunni bla bla bla - the result? The middle east completely covered with uncertainty and Israel laughing all the way to the Golan Heights. I guess a case of United we conquer - Divided we get shafted.
By the way always a site to see - looters taking Assads used bed sheets and rugs from his palace.
Everyones a winner..............

Lmao does US toppled of Saddam had any real impact on china trade relation with Iraq or Brazil during bolsonaro era. China non interference is right especially when it comes to middle east. Let them sort their own shit out. It's not a china problem. If they wanna kill each other so be it. Even milei a proponent of anti communist force wants to strengthen relation with china because he has no other option. No one else will come to his rescue. At the end of the day, china doesn't have to do anything others will come to them with a begging bowl.
Xi jingping the goat.
After many years of a massive refugee influx into Europe from Middle East wars, especially going to back to the height of the 2015 migrant crisis, several European countries have ordered a halt to processing asylum applications from Syrians. This comes after the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government in Syria.
The UK, German, and Austria have confirmed they are freezing their applications. Germany alone has taken in some one million Syrians. Other countries halting their process includes Italy, Norway, Greece, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Finland.
Austria has gone the furthest, with country’s interior minister, Gerhard Karner, saying, "I have instructed the ministry to prepare a program of orderly repatriation and deportation to Syria."

Post-regime collapses are always chaotic even more so in Syria which was already divided long, long ago. At least now there is hope of the new Syria actually being able to unify Syria. So far they have extended their hands to their former oppressors and you don't see widespread reprisals or attacks on minorities as the Al-Assad regime apologists were always telling us would happen the second his regime was gone. The regime change in the past 2 weeks was also remarkably bloodless and hardly any city was destroyed. Probably the most violent events were Russian bombardments of hospitals and civilian areas in Idlib. So this is also a huge positive.
Turkey has been a friend of Syrians, hosted millions of Syrians etc. I don't think one can fault their actions. The US/Israeli sponsored YPG/PKK projects is a threat for both Syria and Turkey alike.
As for Israel, they unfortunately have carte blanche in the region to go on their terroristic rampage in yet another country. The claim is that it is temporary but we will have to see. My take is that they have created those buffers along Southern Lebanon to deal a final blow to Hezbollah (at least attempt to) once the current "ceasefire" has ended.
If anything Israel attacking Syria now tells me that they see the new Syria as a potential serious threat. Otherwise why bother?
Also remember that for 50 + years the most stable Israeli border was with Syria and that it was the Al-Assad regime that lost the Syrian Golan Heights to Israel in the first place. After losing it, they never even tried to reclaim it. For 20 + years they also accepted and never replied to regular Israeli attacks and bombings.

They should just send those asylum seekers back to Syria. Problem solved now that Assad is gone. No more excuses. The whole refugee crisis is their own making. Killing Gaddafi didn't end that well for the EU huh? Lol self own goal by the EU autocrats they are getting played left and right by the US.

which is fine by all means and for respect even but people around the world should stop dreaming about china as savior from western imposed hegemony, they need to do it by themself swallowing bitter pills as any other civilization trough history with only three simultaneously ways of existing, adapt, build, wait until moment arrives for challenging existing rules and order.

U guys got regime change in Syria as u wish then cry about china not helping. Give me fucking break boy. You will get what u deserve. China is not anyone mother we don't have to get involved into everyone problem. Deal with it yourself. Wanna do business and make money, improve your citizens lives then come to China and ask nicely. That's it. We can build schools, hospitals , roads anything u want but don't expect china to come and save your azz either. China is not anti West China doesn't want to be dictate by the US on what to do. That's it. You want an alternative system we give u one. Now it's to you to decide what's best and stop crying like little girls. Alot of those anti Assad guys want no part of Russia, Iran, US , Israel in Syria but all of a sudden they criticized china for not interfering into Syria internal affairs. Lmao at least be consistent with your stand and stop making a fool of yourself. It's ridiculous it's laughable It's best for china to leave u guys alone. Not worth the fight. Go fix your own mess! The middle east as a whole is run by strongman politics and no qualified leader who knows how to run a country. Imagine without oil this region would be done. Period. China best wish is to build up places where they actually really want help and not places where they want chaos and destruction.

Those people live in a fairytale world. Most Chinese are extremely Westernized and love everything Western. China itself is the largest trade partner of the US. They both benefit mutually from the relationship despite all the mostly empty talk. Their only (real, that seems not to be solvable) is the Taiwan dispute (Taiwan is a post-Chinese civil war creation - it has been ruled by the losing Nationalist side of the Chinese civil war). Other than that they have no reason for any hostility. Remember that the US/West helped China during the Japanese invasion. Without the US/West defeating imperial Japan, much of China and Asia would have remained under Japanese rule.
Also they barely have any cultural, linguistic, religious etc. projection in the world. Other than being a manufacturing hub, I don't see any Chinese influence in the West and elsewhere.
Compare that with the US/West who has basically shaped almost everything in the modern world.
Which language are we communicating in as well? Surely not Han Chinese.
BTW, I am a generally pro-Chinese person, Arabs and Chinese have had cordial ties throughout history, just stating it as I see it. No sugarcoating here.
BTW, China and Israel have close ties too. Don't let you get fooled. Just ilke with Russia (historically even more).

Personally, I prefer HTS to Assad. Women should not be on the beach in bikinis. Women should marry when they come of age. Women should not reject having kids.
Which is understandable and commendable, hence why so many developing countries trust China and see them in a positive light. You hardly see any negative Chinese meddling anywhere. It is mostly strictly business. There were some complains of some poor African countries and what not but overall you don't hear much.
Now compare that with Uncle Sam or to a smaller extend Putinistan, sorry Russia......
After seeing Assad sitting on the sidelines while thousands of innocent Palestinians were brutally murdered by Israelis, that was the last straw. The Syrian army basically joined HTS and gave Assad the big fat middle finger. It's time for new leadership in Syria.
