Are there any Iranian SAM systems left in Syria? Could Israel capture any? Last word was the Israelis were heading to a military base just outside Damascus ?

Turkiye is a regional mini empire, like Iran.
But Iran spend money to gain own security.
Turkiye spread unsecurity to gain money.

A very short term view.

If you imagine a world with a country like Turkiye by each 5 normal countries, world would be an endless hell of abuse and burning conflicts .
Vulture sound about right

I found the full clip in context.

Iranian/Russian Bot Network lying per usual.

The disrespect that Assad showed to Turkey is one for the history book.

He really thought Turkey was weak and that Erdogan came begging for a normalization deal, and that he somehow could afford to play games.

Turkey told Iran and Iraq about their concerns for the refugees needing to go home, and they understood right away, it was a reasonable request, these people want to go home, let's compromise and fix this.

He mistook a peace offering for weakness and tried to act tough and dismissive like he didn't need to listen.

Well he found out in exactly 11 days time. lol

Yeah it's weird how arrogant Assad became. Turkiye wanted to negotiate with Assad before these operations. In return, Assad asked Hatay from Turkiye, a Turkish province... I think Assad was on heroin or crack this last few months.

“Arrow of Bashan”: Israel Uses Scriptures to Justify Its Invasion of Syria

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has once again invoked biblical references to justify war crimes and violations of the international law. On Tuesday, Netanyahu revealed that the Israeli army’s latest assault across Syria would be called “Operation Arrow of Bashan.” The campaign, he claimed, aims to “eliminate threats from Syria”.

What Is Bashan?

The term “Bashan” originates from the Bible, referencing a fertile and historically significant region in present-day Syria. Known for its rich pastures and biblical associations, Bashan was a land allegedly conquered by the Israelites under the leadership of Moses. By using this name, Netanyahu ties Israel’s modern military assaults to ancient religious narratives, reinforcing a claim of divine entitlement to justify Israel’s colonial ambitions.

The name “Bashan” holds deep historical and biblical significance. It was a fertile region mentioned in the Old Testament, known for its agricultural abundance and strategic importance. The Israelites defeated Og, King of Bashan, and divided the land among their tribes. By naming the operation after Bashan, Netanyahu aligns modern military actions with these historical conquests, framing them as part of a divine plan.

The Israeli army’s latest operation targeted strategic military sites across Syria. Netanyahu claimed the strikes were designed to prevent advanced weaponry from falling into the hands of the rebels. However, the assault also reflects broader territorial ambitions.

Netanyahu reinforced Israel’s claim over the Golan Heights, stating, “The Golan Heights will be an inseparable part of the State of Israel forever.” Israeli forces have reportedly violated the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by invading the demilitarized zone between Syria and the occupied Golan Heights.

Biblical Rhetoric in Military Justifications

This is not the first time Netanyahu has relied on religious texts to rationalize military assaults. During the ongoing Gaza genocide, he has repeatedly quoted the Torah and Psalms, framing the genocide as a “battle between the children of light and the children of darkness.”

Netanyahu has previously invoked the Amalekites, a biblical enemy of the Israelites, to justify wiping out Palestinians in Gaza. He quoted Ecclesiastes, stating, “There is a time for peace and a time for war,” and promised Israeli forces they would fulfill prophecies from the Book of Isaiah.

Netanyahu’s use of religious rhetoric serves to mask Israel’s violations of international law and advance colonial ambitions in occupied territories.

Netanyahu’s repeated use of religious references to justify military operations has drawn sharp criticism. Many see these actions as an attempt to legitimize colonial ambitions under the guise of religious entitlement. The international community continues to express concern over Israel’s violations of international agreements and its impact on regional stability.

So Israel has effectively sunk the whole Syria navy and destroyed air force and air defenses and army depots and annexed more Syrian territory, this is probably the fastest advance of Israel towards their of goal of Greater Israel and that too in just couple of days, all this without any opposition from the current in-charge of Syria.

I wonder what Israel/US offered Erodgan for arranging all this and keeping his mouth shut, must be something really big?

Very false accusation or a very dark Freudian theory.

Turkey was Libya’s only defender against a combined international Western-Eastern-Arabic alliance (Russia, UAE, France, China). Only Italy took Turkey’s side (only diplomaticly) and that clearly because of their colonial history.

Turkey succesfully organized a diplomatic and economic network at the Balkans to secure and defend the muslems of the Balkans (no mather from which mezheb) - creating Kosovo, strenghtening Albania militairily, defending Bosnia militairily and economicly and taking her to the same table with Serbia and even creating roads and bridges and deals between them.

Turkey succesfully powerboosted Azerbaijan militairily and helped Azerbaijan to free their occupied lands after 30 years while the odds were very bad all those years for them. Turkey brought Nagorno-Karabach to the worlds attention.

Turkey saved the North of Cyprus for the Cypriotic muslems and creates their a state for them and powerboosted it.

Turkey stood firmly with the Syrian muslems and took them in and they secured at least the half of Syria for the Syrian people after 13 years of civil war, and they will succeed in liberating all Syria including the Golan Heights.

If Turkey would get enough financial and diplomatic support from the muslim world (Saudi-Arabi, UAE, Pakistan, Iran, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh etc), then Turkey would liberate not only Palestine, but also Kashmir and Turkestan.
