there no tea cup involved here Doc. actions are clear enough to see who made first move, and tried to destabilize a peaceful neighbouring border, and do not ignore the fact IRGC foolishly involved Pakistan with other missile strikes in the region.

From another forum, someone wrote that the attack on Syria was to send a message to Israel, the attack on Erbil to let the US know their bases and interests are in sight and the attack on Pakistan is to say that they are not afraid of a nuclear power and are willing to have multiple fronts as well as absorb attacks.

BEIJING: Beijing said Thursday it was willing to mediate between Pakistan and Iran following an exchange of fire against militant targets in their border region, including a strike that Tehran said killed at least seven civilians.

“The Chinese side sincerely hopes that the two sides can exercise calm and restraint and avoid an escalation of tension,” foreign ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning told a regular press conference.

“We are also willing to play a constructive role in de-escalating the situation if both sides so wish,” she said.

Nuclear-armed Pakistan and neighbouring Iran are both battling simmering insurgencies along their sparsely populated border regions.

On Thursday, Pakistan said it carried out strikes against militant targets in Iran.

Tehran said it had summoned the Pakistani charge d’affaires in response to the attack, which killed at least seven people.

Both countries are close partners of Beijing and members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation.

Mao reiterated Iran and Pakistan were “friendly countries to China, and countries with important influence”.

How many locations and what was the primary munition? Drone strikes or jets or missile launches?

Fighter sweep and escort by J-10 armed with PL-15s, JF-17 and F-16 strikes with RXXs & JXXXs, UCAVs strikes and L munitions.

Something big is brewing up, bigger than the region itself...try linking US statements regarding Iran....shipping getting attacked in waters around Iran and its proxies, Israel already pissed off by Iran equipped or pro Iran proxies, then something happens and Iran is coaxed into reacting like it did against Iraq, against shipping etc....and then US trying to make up a case of Iran being thoroughly irresponsible....i personally think there is definitely much more than meets the eye.
