PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Bro, there is not really a downgraded version in the sense that some systems are entirely removed and different systems are installed in the export version. Because many of these systems are so complex that is like human eye. You can't have 80% or 90% of its hardware to make it function for its role. You need 100% of it. And developing less capable alternative solutions would cost extra time and money. Even if it leverages lots of already mature technologies from the original program.

So instead, given today 5th gen platforms are fully digitized and in the end of the day performance of every hardware is Ultimately defined by its software, from mission computer to aesa radar, ew system, EOTS what's not, this is were they usually put restrictions on performance perimeters for export versions.

For example, F35 procured by US allies has the very same engine, Radar, EW, EOT, integrated central processor, fusion engine, etc. However, software is different for domestic model. USAF once wanted to buy 8 F35 meant for Türkiye without changing any major hardware with software and some minor hardware modifications.
Hi,

Thanks for an excellent explanation---.

Israel got the f35's and installed their own systems in it that met their needs---.

Azerbaijan will get the BLK3 and will have equally capable Turkish system installed on it---.

@That_Guy --- what you have stated was brought up in the US congress as well a few years ago---.

The pentagon had to explain to the house members that in their sphere of influence nations---no allied nation was going to accept " export quality or watered down equipment " anymore---.

Youngman---when a nation like pakistan is able to sell a 4---4.5 gen aircraft with aesa radar and a very very potent bvr and wvr missile packeg---anti ship and air to ground smart weapon package to a needy buyer---the west is in a real quandry as what to do---.

Son---what pakistan had done with Algeria & Morroco in the 50's---pakistan has done it again in 2024---.

Hi, Would love to know about what pakistan had done with Algeria & Morroco in the 50's. It's Something we have no clue. Can you please inform if possible.

But the point is - and I‘m sure you deliberately ignored it - all these mentioned subsystems (AESA and „a very very potent bvr and wvr missile packeg“) are pure CHinese systems. So in fact it is again based on what China allows you to sell and equally offers you to purchase.

Pakistan to stay realistic is here surely not the seller.

Hi,

I believe started with Algeria---. They wanted freedom---but as they did not have a nation---they could not speak in the united nation---.

Pakistani ambassador provided them with a pakistani passport to get them in the house and allowed to speak on the world forum---.

Why do you think there so much "caution" against pakistan in the world powers---?

We are a Majnoon nation---we do things without fear of consequences---.

I think you should do a search and read in detail what happened---.

Pakistan played a crucial role in supporting the independence movements of Algeria and Morocco in the 1950s by providing diplomatic assistance. Here's how:

Support for Morocco:

  • In 1952, when Moroccan leader Ahmed Balafrej was denied a platform to speak at the UN Security Council due to French opposition, Pakistan's Foreign Minister Zafarullah Khan intervened.
  • Pakistan issued a Pakistani passport to Balafrej, allowing him to address the UN as a Pakistani citizen.
  • This bold move gave significant international recognition to the Moroccan struggle for independence.
Support for Algeria:

  • Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic in exile in 1958.
  • Pakistan provided diplomatic passports to prominent Algerian leaders like Ahmed Ben Bella, enabling them to travel internationally and garner support for their cause.
  • Pakistan also allowed the Algerian government-in-exile to open a mission in Karachi.
These actions by Pakistan demonstrated its strong commitment to the principles of self-determination and national liberation, particularly for fellow Muslim nations. They helped amplify the voices of Algerian and Moroccan leaders on the global stage and contributed to their eventual independence.

Yes surely I will do it on weekend. Thanks for giving clue of the topic. Rest I will search.

Hi,

@Deino---as always---I love your German ignorance---or---your pin pricks to dig up information---.

I knew that you could not keep yourself away---.
...
So far---nothing has stopped pakistan to sell a complete version of a JF17 either with a chinese or a Turkish package---.

Has any member heard or read news that china won't allow the sale---please let me know---.

And I love your weekly insult spiced with lies, false accusations and wild fantasies.

I know that anyone who applauds reports as completely correct in which some idiot says, "Yay, the JF-17 now flies with an Italian engine, has tanks in the cockpit walls and can fire American AMRAMs" is surely also convinced that Pakistan would manufacture and deliver complete JF-17Cs itself, independent of Chinese components because it has "a very very potent bvr and wvr missile package" available for sale to any customer!

.But maybe it's actually a learning experience: which AESA and "very very potent bvr and wvr missile package" is manufactured in Pakistan that could be offered to customers, provided they don't come from China?

Therefore, nobody has claimed that China would prohibit any sales, but your claim that Pakistan would manufacture a "very very potent bvr and wvr missile package" is simply wrong or yet another lie.

....
That replacement picture with that of a male model was an excellent thought on your part---hehehehehe.
...

And what the stupid comment is supposed to mean, is unclear to me, except that strange fantasies seem to be going through your head right now. 🤡

Hi,

Could some pakistani members confirm this information of paf developing its own bvr missiles---. Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for putting the effort into looking into it.

Now you will never forget---.

There will come a day---when you will tell your children about this with pride---.

Not shocking, the premier version will face off USN/USAF in the Pacific. Pakistan cannot protect Chinese citizens, how we going to protect Stealth secrets when the US Embassy in Islamabad is their 3rd largest in the world....
Other nation's embassies seem a lot bigger than the US Embassy in Pakistan.

Here, have a look.

Even Tajikistan has a bigger Embassy than the US.

On the topic of Pakistan not being able to protect Chinese technology in Pakistan, you must be under the impression that the US is not capable of getting the same information directly from China?

You are wasting your time with the wrong guy

Possibly US can, but in Pakistan it is fair to say we have many people in our military very sympathetic to them (nothing wrong with that at all) and some US contractor in the country. That simply is not the case in China
