Hamas has been torn down. Their attacks now are at best ineffective. All the while israel continues to whittle them down.
Israel not only killed their military leader but killed their political leader in the heart of Tehran amidst Iranian VIP security, showing Israeli reach.
Hezbollah has taken catastrophic beating with their iconic leaders exterminated. And the actual collapse of Assad.
I believe you and other folks have drawn very different conclusions on what has happened in the middle east. In my and many analysts view, Israel has absolutely crushed everyone militaily and come out on top. But they have battered their image globally through targeting civilians.
Hamas is a resistance organisation, as long as their is occupation their will be resistance
The long term threat for Israel isn't Hamas or Hezbollah, which are irregular militia at best, and even then it took Israel getting tens of billions from the U.S and others to keep Israel afloat, and thousands of flights to keep Israel armed
This is because Israel is a tiny state with no depth and no ability to defend itself against a middle east that hates it
When you have a enemy like this, it's just rounds and rounds and rounds of attack until you can grind your enemy down and that's what will happen to Israel
A Palestinian population that is much younger then the Jews that's will keep growing and expanding, a middle east that despised the Jews and a Jew population growing older whilst the useless haredi and orthodox population expands
As you say the Jews and Israeli will face long term consequences for this
It's not a matter of if , it's a matter of when Israel will fall
