You fail to see the bigger picture. A proper revenge would be to launch the missiles at Israel, not Pakistan. Iran blamed US and Israel for the Kerman terror attacks, then went on and launched missiles at Syria, Iraq and Pakistan, the latter responded with air strikes of its own.
When Mossad assassinates our scientists on our own soil, we say it's an indirect attack, so we can't strike Israel directly. When US assassinated Soleimani, we said it happened on foreign soil. Now Pakistan flew jets into our airspace and hurled missiles at us. What do we say this time? The imaginary red line of IRGC was crossed and there will not be any response because we simply can't afford it. Do you not think that Israel, US, Saudi etc takes note of this? Even our regional rival Turkey will feel emboldened by this. The consequences of this attack are so many I can write an endless list.
Now China and Russia know we are a loose canon,
Our image in the muslim world is hurt more than ever,
Resistance fighters will think twice about the protection we can offer them, now that they see we can't even protect ourselves,
The myth that any attack on Iran will be met by 100k missiles is gone,
Pakistan will never forget this attack and will be drawn towards the anti-Iranian bloc,
I am going to pause here, but we can comfort ourselves with the fact that we traded all this and more, for a couple of terrorists and civilians.
