JF-17 PFX program

@Quwa The turks were looking into a EW variant of the Hurjet for the Navy and use onboard carriers- that could bring to light some very, very interesting options for the JF-17...
I'm surprised they're seemingly sticking to the Hurjet airframe as is and not designing a larger fighter. Perhaps there's more to that design than what's apparent right now.

China leaping into 6th gen makes their knowledge and eco system of 4.5 gen fighters less important to them. Can pak get huge amount of techincal and logistics help to create ecosystem for pfx from china.

To what extent is the PFX ecosystem as you call it? What is its ultimate goal?

If your ultimate goal is to buy components from all over the world and assemble them in Pakistan, then Pakistan has already achieved that goal. If your ultimate goal is to have it 100% made in Pakistan, then I can only regret to say that we won't see it reach that goal in our lifetimes.

The technical issues of creating a complete 100% indigenous industrial system for manufacturing fighter jets is just one of the minor issues and even funding is not a big issue. The real biggest challenge is determination! ------ From what I can see, Pakistan and India, the decision makers and the people, don't have that resolve.

Determination comes from motivation. Motivation equals pressure.
It is clear that the current pressure in both India and Pakistan is not enough.

well, determination, money, expertise, research, infrastructure, development, talent...and so on...

Yes.
It takes a lot of conditions. But determination comes first.
Lacking advanced technology, we can start with some simple technology;
Lack of funds, we can make up for it in other ways;
But if we lack determination, we will not advance ......

What was i trying to say designing prototype development of pfx and its testing to the stage kaan is right now.by jv from our people (nastp) with chinese private companies who had previous experience and involvement in development of 4.5 gen fighters .we can get their services for pfx .i dont think china will have problem with that .techinal help and infrastructure set up in all phases of development i am talking about. Pak needs to fund it see as a golden oppurtunity for Pac .as part about determination you cannot design a bike without it let alone talking a flying fighter jet .it will be a oppurtunity missed PAF as i see .

I suggest you think carefully about the previous discussion. The real dilemma is not the technology, nor the money, but, rather, the complete lack of such determination in Pakistan.
As I said earlier, Determination comes from motivation. Motivation equals pressure.
You only see the achievements of China today, you don't see the shame that China suffered in the past. You can find out in detail what China actually went through in the two decades from 1990~2010. It is the pressure of these humiliations that gives the Chinese people an immense amount of motivation. These motivations have led to the achievements of the Chinese people today. Without these pressures, there would be no achievements of China today.
Pakistan and India, which have not experienced this kind of humiliation, would not have had such great pressure, and certainly would not have had sufficient motivation and determination.
Chinese military fans nowadays. Whenever China has new achievements in the field of military industry, Chinese military fans will spontaneously remember the humiliating experiences of the past.
If you can understand the photos below, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Totally Chinese are example for every one . As i have said earlier without determination you can design bike let alone flying fighter jet. As i see thing its huge opportunity for paf and pac to correct their direction of how things should be done in future. they should declare it national project pfx it can also create future for pac next couple of decades if pfx is successful. Otherwise its a missed train again unfortunately 😞. And to counter future threats in house development is way to go in every domain otherwise we are doomed.

I have mix feeling for j10c. To counter rafale something was needed. But it does not created great value for future.

J-35, KAAN and PFX will enter in service around 2026, 2028 and 2030 respectively. Decent fighters and future capable PAF inventory.
Keep it up boys.
