Lets talk numbers..only 37% of Iranians identify as Muslim of which only 2% support Islamic Republic system
"In contrast with state propaganda that portrays Iran as a Shia nation, only 32% explicitly identified as such, while 5% said they were Sunni Muslim and 3% Sufi Muslim. Another 9% said they were atheists, along with 7% who prefer the label of spirituality. Among the other selected religions, 8% said they were Zoroastrians – which we interpret as a reflection of Persian nationalism and a desire for an alternative to Islam, rather than strict adherence to the Zoroastrian faith – while 1.5% said they were Christian.

Parliamentary election in 2023 demonstrated that out of 37% that identify as muslim only 10 to 12% participated in voting for IR parliament the rest of the country stayed home and from that 10 to 12% many were employees of the IR that were expected to vote or be dismissed...
Note: the survey was four years ago the situation is even much worse now after consecutive defeats of Islamic Republic in all areas of Economy ,Defence and Social affairs....there is now talk of a famine in Iran and do not laugh Iran the giant energy country does not have enough fuel to run her power generation plants..who would have believed that either!!!
