New-Chill Bangladesh Thread

@Joe Shearer

Dada,

I thought Majumdar spoke very well, though forcefully.

Majumdars are a breed apart when it comes to intelligence and articulation.

Regards

Don't forget there are Boddi Majumdars. Bobby Mazumdar of Tractors India, for instance, so back off and stay in your lane. We are an endangered species, unlike you.

I thought Majumdar spoke very well, though forcefully.

Who was that turd in the lower left box, who kept shouting at Majumdar, asking if he was a Hindu? I would so have liked a five minute conversation with him (within arms' length, if you get what I mean).

Who the hell are they to decide what a Hindu should or should not believe? politically?

No idea who that is, a Sanghi for sure.

Problems for Majumdars on this side of the border and Khans on the other side of the border is that they have to constantly prove their patriotism to their countrymen and also outsiders. Unfortunate and unpleasant truth.

Not Khans in Bengal or in Telangana, or in Chennai, or in Kerala.

I no longer feel confident about Karnataka, in some ways my home state now, or Andhra Pradesh. Karnataka, though Congress, has been injected with such a strong Hindutva element that it has proved resistant to political change. Andhra Pradesh, under Chandrababu Naidu, is no longer to be trusted; he is too ready to sell out and formed one of the two leaders who ultimately gave the Sangh Parivar their winning edge in number of seats in Parliamentary elections.

But your point is right on target.

I will watch it in a few minutes, but your summary says it all. Indian media must bear at least 25% of the responsibility of the totally man-made anti-Bangladesh tirade building up.

@Nilgiri will testify that one of our WhatsApp group members, a Sardarni, has just been into Bangladesh and back on NGO work, and was quite indignant in her view of the difference between what is printed in Indian media and the reality that prevails.

Enfuriating.

This is part of what I meant in the book reading thread w.r.t zero sum proclivities shaping up and long form establishing in authority....compared to ground reality of regular folks (and whichever ground-based social "checks and balances" and social graces they have with their own conception and conventions/inertias of the "tribe" now expanded to and called the nation):

Lot of BD members here for example I have noticed said BJP is just another side of same coin that is INC (and TMC et al). That India is essentially on spectrum of soft-hindutva to hard from the get go (and I actually understand what they mean by it, but I do disagree with their inconsistency regd the larger matter that often comes to bear for one's own tribe vs anothers....past the significant crucial specifics that matter too)....to say explain its bipartisan/tripartisan approach now w.r.t whats shaped up in BD post-Hasina. i.e the phenomenon is largely universal one around the world.

CCP easily projects worst case negativity about Taiwan and KMT once used to do this in reverse (now DPP has assumed that mantle and KMT have shifted to more pro-CCP stance, which is its own long story that I recently talked with Taiwanese buddy about).

But really once you visit the ground and connect with people and realities on the ground more, its lot different (of course you have to always keep in mind the authority in charge of the place and the system in place for it and what it has mentally been moulded and influenced by over time....you cannot wish that away either...and sometimes broadcast/heavy lever action wise all you have is the authority side of things to go upon as no one has been to every country in sufficient resolution).

This takes its similar but different context for North America too, phenomenon of DC and Ottawa federal power wise and what to mix/shove/push in there just because the biggest zero-sum levers (of long term sensor + praxis with rest of world and fear based security driving that from both ends) reside there. Lot of things are very different again in the larger nations past the authority concentration and its influence on broadcasting.

@Joe Shearer dada watch this video. The moment a Bangladeshi Hindu defends his country, the Godi Media "journalist" starts questioning his religion.

According to the Sanghis you cannot be a Bangladeshi and a Hindu. You learn something new every day!

room temp iq jeets... typical

Loathesome drunken fool.

There is something very wrong with our promotional policies, when this kind of drink-sodden buffoon rises above a Major's rank. And humiliates us in front of the world.

After stumbling across one or two of these, I've come to the conclusion that the 5-years majority Gaurav somebody-or-the-other is perhaps the least nauseating of the lot, simply in contrast to the rest of the pack.

Trouble within BNP- a senior leader accusing BNP leadership being infiltrated by RAW agents. Something many of us have been calling out for sometime now.

Start by getting rid of Mirza Fakhrul.

There is an internal battle taking place in BNP. BD Nationalists vs dalals.

Let's see who comes out as victorious.

I used to think Rizivi a patriot but he turned out to be dalal.

@Al-Zakir

Zakir mian,

I used to think Rizivi a patriot but he turned out to be dalal.

Sooner or later, any BD ruler/neta who cares for the well-being of the BD people will realise that good relationship with India is a must. So, he will turn out to be a "dalal"

Regards

Lol, you are funny. Thanks for the laugh.

If they have a brain, they will take a lesson from Hasina and Awami league's outcome, and stay mile away from India.

Zakir mian,

they will take a lesson from Hasina and Awami league's outcome,

Or maybe they will rule for one month less than 15 years and then scoot just before things get too hot?

Regards
