Syria has now a new Army. It is not difficult to put in place a military presence in the path of these forces to stop them expanding and force Israel to stop. They do not need to attack, simply be in the way of further expansion. Right now they have a clear uncontested road all the way to Damascus.
Israel isn't going to take Damascus. They're not foolish enough for such a blatant act.

They're going to stick themselves along Golan.

Besides, Israel would automatically start bombing the new army, and use the excuse that they're still being led by HTS, which is still a terrorist organization. Once that happens, all efforts by the new government would go to waste as European and US politicians fall over themselves to be the first to kiss Netanyahu's ass.

You'd think so,but they once took most of Beirut.
And they paid the price for it. Occupying Lebanon was an unmitigated disaster for Israel.

Syria has a significantly larger population, and multiple factions, all of whom are not friendly towards Israel, and all of them armed.

While the current government in Syria doesn't have the ability to launch operations against Israel, they WOULD fight back against Israel, and in fact this would help them unite the country against a common foe.

Netanyahu is a greedy bastard, but he's a calculated greedy bastard. He knows his limits.

If Israel were to move on Damascus, considering how many players are in Syria, Israel would essentially be fight a proxy war that's on a completely different level to Gaza and Lebanon.

Well it wasn't that much of a disaster. They eventually left Lebanon in 2000,but that's it.

It truly was disaster and 2006 was even worse.. To much loss of manpower as these conflicts never went cold but just stayed hot to hot for Israel´s size and it was not feasible for them to remain there

The multiple massacres that occurred, as well as the severe losses they faced (which they lied about from the beginning) hurt their reputation a lot. No longer was Israel an undefeated fighting force.

"It is noted that the activist Ahmad Al-Mansour shook the ground under Sisi's feet and caused media and political confusion in Egypt after all factions of the opposition received his speech with great interest, and his message spread throughout Egypt. Those familiar with the situation in Egypt confirm that the Egyptian regime is in a fragile state not worth dealing with, and perhaps its days are numbered, so it is assumed that no one should pay attention to these pressures.

Ahmad Al-Mansour had spoken in a video clip watched by millions and tweeted a post read by over a million confirming the cooperation of various opposition factions with him"

That is BS. Ahmad Al Mansour didn't shake anything. He is just barking as usual. In Egypt, we saw a lot of those people.
Everyday MB bots tweets about revolution protest etc... nothing happens. They are barking dogs.

We, egyptians, tried MB regime and we hated them. So don't expect something to happen. Nothing will happen. We know if something happens today, it will be the end of Egypt.

Plus one of Jolani friend, Mahmoud Fathi/محمود فتحي (he supported the ISIS branch in Sinai, he said it in a interview) was literally convicted for having assassinated a prosecutor General of Egypt Hisham Barakat.

But the problem is,they don't really care about criticism. They don't care, they stopped caring after the 1973 war I think.

Wow such disaster they managed to neutralize half the Arab world by 2024 and here they are, having eliminated the entire Hamas and Hizbollah leadership, destroyed almost all of Gaza Strip and reached Damascus.

You guys have to wake up some day.

The amount of delusions is just kind of hilarious... Reminds me of that guy who said both Hamas and Hezbollah are done in and now half of the arab world is done in I guess lmao.

If only a single isolated airstrike could win wars anime, fairytales and cartoons would have been out of business.. It would be called Issy-fiction tongue in check for easy fiction.

They want to rewrite the constitution of war which is the oldest constitution and the most basic constitution.

Imagine if you read somewhere in history that Saladin launched few catapults at Akkar and hence he won the war? Without taking the city, without engaging conventional the party occupying Akkar and he there after claimed victory and leaving Akkar to the occupiers.

Israel can´t beat Hamas in conventional conflict and they can destroy all the buildings you want you but gotta take it from Hamas on the ground tho
