But you know, historically families split all the time, cousin and cousin, brother and brother, these are old tales.

I don't get it & neither do I subscribe to the idea of desperately trying to keep one's bloodline pure. It may seem to be a plausible idea for shorter timeline, say few 100s of years, but on a grander time scale, that is not a viable idea at all. I mean, even in the last 80 to 100 thousand years of human history, we have been exploring & migrating all the time and mixing with the locals all the time. Heck, we are not even 100% pure homo-sapiens with impurities from neanderthals and Denisovans and what nots!!

And, in the coming thousands of years, with all the technological advancements, these migrations are going to be much more frequent and dominant. So will be the inter-mixings. And the ones trying hard to keep their already impure bloodline pure, will either be wiped out or will be dwindled down to complete insignificancy.

Although I would not be so harsh, but I do believe that glorification of one's past is a major contributor to all the conflicts around us. Only if we learned to be humble and somewhat accommodating, many of these conflicts wouldn't even had started. I am neither proud nor ashamed of my past. The past is past. Nothing can be done about it, whether it was good or bad. It can only be studied and researched for enhancing knowledge and for reference on what not to be done in the future. I like to live humbly in the present with a keen vision for the future.

First of all, this became too serious too fast.

Secondly, I believe anyone can be a right wingist. Even our vastly knowledgeable, and mostly rational friend @Joe Shearer (Who, by most of our Indian friends, is accused of being left leaning) can be a rightist at times. Doc has been and will always be a rightist (Its a great irony that he hates rightists). When one stops being open minded, flexible and strongly adheres to the idea that what they learned and believes, is the ultimate truth, they becomes rightist. I abhore the idea of people who fantacises to bringing back the past to today's world. I mean I am a Mars ticket holder from SpaceX and I'm 50+. I am always looking towards the future.

P.S.: Children, whether born out of a routine process or rape, can be equally dense or equally brilliant. The upbringing or the background history does play some role, but given atleast 50% conducive environment, most will be a positive contributor only. We all are products of some form of rape, doesn't matter if it had happened 40,000 years ago.

I was referring more to genetics. Taking inspiration from past cultural achievements is fine if it motivates someone but being proud of genetic lineage seems silly.
