Catching up to US level is never going to happen for many many reason one of them being the chicoms are not innovators of technology but replicators.

Exactly my point, they were using a tin can carrier to fight in Syria, you got to give it to them for fighting with the bare minimum, and yet the STRONK USA is no where to be seen. Now imagine fighting against the world's largest industrial base producing missiles like chocolate and DRONES.

Taiwan itself knows it'll be swarms of tens of thousands civilian ships in case of war. Those fishing ships also regularly go to South China Sea to assist Chinese navy.

Second, Ukraine is fighting an DEFENSIVE war, they don't need to know the approach because they know where the Russian is going to end up, I mean I don't need to know how you use your tank because you are going to attack me, then your tank WILL CONVERGE on me. Say if Russian is launching an offensive toward Prokovsk, Ukraine don't need to know where the Russian tank coming from, they know they will end up ner Prokovsk, because that's where they are going, so they can literally use them to lay and ambush.

China is ATTACKING if we are talking about a Sino-Taiwanese war, it will be the similar to us trying to find some Taliban dude with our MQ-9 because we don't know where it was. Drone are useful for defender, not attacker, that's the reason why you don't see that many Ukrainian tank being destroyed by Russian drone, those are almost always one way traffic

And finally, Russian is being stupid for not using combine arms attack, they run their tank solo, not even with Infantry support, nor without air support. if YOU have infantry support and sweep ahead for the ambush, at worse you lost the squad of infantry instead of your tank. These lil boats can play a big role, 25 soldiers each x 1000 swarming their coast. During the Hainan landing, they even use wooden junks. Each soldier given enough. ammunition and MRE for a week, just send them in to wreck havoc. Each gets a drone with some mortar. Then instruct them to occupy a town, identify and take over food stores, convenience stores etc. I reckon they can capture multiple towns quickly, that will force the Taiwanese to retreat and defend major cities. One container ship with 20000 teus, one gets through and it's alottt of ammunition and MREs. Imagine if one of those RORO with 6000 vehicle capacity gets in. Bye bye Taiwan

Currently, 70% of the destroyed Ukrainian tanks were destroyed by Russian drones, and most of the videos of the destruction of Ukrainian tanks were shot by drones.
Taiwan is definitely dumber than the Russians. Their military exercises are to drive tanks and armored vehicles directly onto the beach, and the artillery is arranged in neat rows in an open area and fires. Even the Soviet army in WWII was not that stupid.

When the attacking side attacks a position, it will send a large number of drones to clear the personnel and equipment on the position. The battle line cannot deceive people. If Ukraine’s losses were not so heavy, it would not have lost so much land. Half of the Russian territory captured in last year's counterattack has been lost.
