'Kicked him to the curb': How Elon Musk forced Vivek Ramaswamy out of DOGE

@r3alist

So are Americans just lazy slobs who happen to have silicon valley but cannot aspire to work there?

Who said that! Not me for sure. There are many many Americans who are working in top tech jobs in the Valley. I am sure a majority of the tech workers are American citizens. But many of the relatively low paid jobs have gone to Indian immigrants who are working at wages which native Americans are not likely to do.

Do you refuse to empathize or are you unwilling to?

Of course, I empathize. I am just referring to the financial compulsions of the employers.

that no way would Indians entertain ceding many well paid jobs to non Indians in the corporate world

India is one of the poorest countries in the world with low income levels. Where on Earth would you find educated, skilled people willing to emigrate to India to take up corporate jobs?

Regards

It's said the canteen of tech places is as if you were in Bangalore

They are not lowly paid jobs, the hiring company pays an Indian consultancy an amount, the h1b holder gets a cut ....but the actual amount allocated is h1b salary plus margin for the consultancy which would all otherwise go to an American and that would be a good enough wage still, it's a misrepresentation to say lowly paid , thats just how the Indian consultancy pays it's hires

Ahhh look here....I think I have found a value judgement, you mean you say India should protect it's labour market as it's poor

Why wouldn't say Nigerians, Ghanians, Bengalis who might have comparable education, enough English to take some jobs within corporate India, why not?

Are we suddenly territorial on income opportunities 😐🙄

@r3alist

I have no issues with documented immigration anywhere. But would such Nigerians, Ghanians or BDs want to move to India? Are the salaries differential in India worth the pain and effort to move there? Wouldn't they make a bigger delta in the Gulf or in the West?

You are a Pakistani. Do you think any skilled Pakistani worker would want to emigrate to India?

Regards

I just gave a hypothetical, to test the principle

But sure, Bangalore is an established tech and it centre, it would be a step up to anything in their own countries, and would represent opportunity, and we know what people do to pursue opportunities.

This back and forth could go on

This is the issue, your team will win

Money talks, BS walks.

Sixteen pages of who is better qualified, with no consideration of who comes cheaper. Talk all about if cheap is better or not, but at the end of day.. the ones who come cheap , make profits.

Want to make America Great Again? Pay less and make more. The ones who hire and look at a Balance Sheet, know what matters.

Election is over and for next 2 years at least, one can cry and beat chests .. doesn't matter to the one's who hire. Come third year expect rhetoric, to cover the next 5 years.

On the contrary it has served them pretty well over the last couple of centuries, got the British overlords to dislodge Muslims from the seat of power in India and then getting them to hand over the reigns to the Brahmins as they left the subcontinent while making sure the Muslims of the region will forever be fractured and their potential rage contained through brutal control by the native colonial foot soldiers.

Furthermore, it got the Western Euros and Americans to prop them up and catapult them on the brink of becoming the third biggest economy in the world.
Would disagree.

The Brahmins completely failed to see the level of nervousness and anxiety the Bolshevik revolution caused the AngloSaxons. Had there been no Germany fighting WW1 and WW2 against the rest of the Europeans, the AngloSaxons along with the rest of their European allies would have declared a war on Bolshevik Russia, which then would have become a World War also.

Germany, luckily or unluckily, gave a cover for the Russians to hide away and build up.

As regards to the subcontinent, the Pakistani ruling class became extremely inactive an adopted the 'wait-and-see' policy after 1948. Even though that wathe ideal time to push and break the Brahmin's back, and then the neck once and for all.

The so called elite, hiding in the shadows, after serving the colonial masters for generations, were allowed to make a quiet transition into the elites of Pakistan, which as a result completely crippled Pakistan and any hopes of real freedom.

Had that been any other land and people of honour and dignity, hanging and wiping out the treacherous rats that served the colonial powers would have been the first most priority.

The Brahmin couldn't have eliminated the British Raj servants because the Brahmins themselves were the willing servents.

The Muslim failed due to his own stupidity, silliness and short sightedness.

You fellows are being too dramatic about deportation stuff. You fellows need to wake up cause this is all a big reality show in the US. Trump is nothing but a reality show. And I can gurantee you a few thing.
- the import of millions of indians is inevitable.
- there is a huge recession incoming, so buckle up becuase US economy is about to get fried.
-the civil unreset in US is about to become even more dire.

Just take out your pop-corns, sit down and enjoy this comedy show.
The MAGA are from the same stock that used to lynch the Black people, and once they couldn't lynch them openly, they introduces Jim Crow laws.

You severely underestimate the eneegy that drives that crowd.

They would have zero issues with Eastern Europeans crossing into the USA illegally. They are driven by a race based perspective.

You are VERY misinformed. The people that used to lynch blacks were Democrats. The KKK was a creation OF the Democrats to keep the black people in line post-Civil War and beyond. Jim Crow laws were introduced by? You guessed it. The Democrats.

It was Republicans who were instrumental in creating and securing the 14th Amendment. It was Republicans who advocated and pushed for the passages of the 1964 and 1965 Acts regarding voting and Civil Rights. Well known Democrats were vehemently AGAINST passage including Albert Gore Sr.

It was Democrats who wrote and signed onto the Southern Manifesto which was essentially affirmation of discrimination against black people.

I am very happy to educate you on these matters.

I will be surprise if he win in Ohio. That a farming state and they like to hunt.

Yeah. And no one is hiring them to make a new company to use their talents to disrupt existing deadwood filled companies. If they are so competent, then why dont YOU hire them and make a new company to disrupt the deadwood filled existing companies.

All BS.

You keep avoiding the topic and keep running off to ridiculous red herrings because you cannot counter the simple fact that a number of Americans are openly saying they were fired and replaced by H1-B. This is against the law.

And before you go on about taking them to court, most people don't have the time and resources to challenge a big company in court.

This is the third time you have tried to divert from the core issue of discrimination so I won't reply further on this line of debate.

Huh?

He said Foreign born and first generation.

How did you read "Indians" specifically in it? LOL! He did not even say the the term H1B, btw in that tweet.

LOL, this whole discussion and his tweet is in the context of H1-B visa abuse by Indians.
Context matters.
Duh!

Indians are overrepresented in H1B population simply because they fit the bill..
1. Outside of US, India is the largest country of english speaker.
2. Indians do not have other visa options like E-2, E-3 and TN-1.
3. Indians are very willing to work in US. Many people from europe do not want to move there.
4. Indians were among the first to do mass outsourcing of software development work.

Here in Australia, Filipinos and Vietnamese manage to do the job just fine. US consulates are crowded with masses from developing countries who want to move there. Lots of non-Indians have the same skills as Indians.

There is not as much bias at work here as the facts that you are ignoring.

Indians excel in fraud. They get away with it because of political correctness and Indian nepotism.

The internal audits show fraud rates approaching 50 per cent,

I've long become disenfranchised bro......Most of us here have lost our faith.

We don't and can't trust our establishment anymore.

They don't represent us as Pakistani's.

Muslim ruling elites proved bigger loyal servants to the British raj and later US led western hegemony than Brahmins, who at least had their own separate goals and agenda of dominance sans the Britishers. Whereas the Muslim elites internalized British/Western colonial agenda and made it all their own. They became more loyal to the King than the King himself, what's the matter master, you sick? No we sick became their MO in serving the master who can put us all on "the ventilator" when "beggars can't be chosers".

Elon, the spastic "genius", is on his way out.

With Tesla in demise, X profits plummeting, Mars fantasy hemorrhaging money & obsession with European fascists alienating him, we will see his demise very soon.

You are correct. I led a couple of projects where entire operations were outsourced to India. In one instance, the H1Bs were in the US to be trained by the very people they would be replacing. They would take that training back and teach the new workers how to perform those jobs. I hated every minute of it.
