The strategic plan is astute, righteous and divine and it's effectiveness cannot be judged in the midst of the ongoing battles. The ground will shift in the struggle and henceforth the battlefield tactics must occasionally be reevaluated to align with the strategic desired outcome. What you deem as defeats are IMHO only temporary halts in progress. The enemy does not allow us free reign on the battlefield. One must see it things in proper perspective. Little more than 40 years ago Iran was invaded by foreign forces threatening to destroy it. Now it almost impossible to fathom such a scenario. Equating the temporary halt to uphold an offensive line in Syria

to failure to fail see how Iran has successfully moved the battlelines far away from its own borders to the borders of the enemy. Such an achievement cannot in any way or form be considered defeats.
