what happens is some chinese engineers have found a more efficient model to solve problems. if that model was developed in Israel, the buzz would be less on the market. now people get panic when anyone shouts “China” in the public.
given US restrictions on advanced chips the chinese certainly have more motivations to develop something that costs less, requires less energy, resources.
it seems capitalism vs communism to me, but in the opposite sense you think.
here the capitalist side seems to be China, with real entrepreneurs.
And the communist state-controlled side seems to be USA big tech companies, with a lot of lies to be seen like capitalist. With all well controlled, with regulations to remove rivals, no economic freedom, no freedom at all, just lies.
I repeat the question:
there are thousands Chinese engineers in USA
there are billions invested in AI companies in USA
Why not a single one 6 mn dollar company in USA has do the same? (with Chinese, or the ethnicity/culture you want, USA is plenty of all).
6 mn USD is pocket change for that sector in USA.
It's not a cultural/ethnical problem.
And I think you're wrong when you see these discoveries as the brilliant idea of single one person, science/technology doesnt work that way, usually when people with same knowledge works in solve same problems, they achieve similar conclusions (a lot of science theories have dual-names of two separated groups of people working in the same problem and achieving the same result at the same time)
It's a economic system problem.
USA capitalism is a farce.
USA big tech companies are well controlled by the same entity: USA deep state. No real competence, no real entrepreneurship, just lies, lies and lies.
LIES is the word that better define USA empire.
USA lies ad-nauseam.
