The question is what hit them. Covert teams with FPVs or Israeli RQ-170 like drone with stand off munitions.

Israeli CMs don’t have enough range (or accuracy in EW environment), to get to Tehran from outside of Iran.

Israeli air launched BMs would have left their mark in sat photos.

If it was covert teams, then this many covert teams were able to launch FPVs against all these sites means Iran is truly infiltrated beyond repair.

I say Its Jew's magic to the ones who still believe it that Piece of crap video that showed anti aircraft guns firing at sky and what thing they were actually were hitting anything and were boasting about Iron Dome vs Iran Dome
and good riddance , Those system were more of a show piece than a real deterrence, NATO had access to them for the last 15-20 years and studied them in detail.
now they have spend money on Iranian designed air-defense and mass produce more of them

If S-300 were “show piece” systems. Khamenai wouldn’t travel with a S-300 group when he would give speeches across Iran, he would travel with Bavar or Khordad family of systems.

You cannot argue with that.

problem is not that s-300 was hit, the problem is that other systems designed to protect them failed to do so

so replacing s-300 with Bavar-373 doesn't fix that problem

it's good to see more EW/SHORAD systems but given the size of iran and number of targets, these systems need to be produced in thousands

It’s not Khamenei that makes that decision it’s his security team which are compromised of the most elite guardsmen of the IRGC. The type that their entire families are well known to the establishment to even be allowed to get close to him. They defend the highest VIPs of Iran, forgot their name, something with Shiite religious significance .

anyway, clearly his opsec team felt that S-300 provides the best chance at any assassination attempt from foreign powers.

Bavar does exist in enough capacity to supply them with one team for SL. Yet they don’t use it. Iran has a history of relying on foreign weapons when it is needed the most. That should tell you everything you need to know.

What other systems?

How many of these systems and anti-drone zappers near by? Majid? Dey? Skyguard? Etc. probably none of them.

I mean the Isfahan system hit in the April 2024 attack you could see it from the highway. That’s laughable. A child could pilot a quad copter and hit it.

Tehran system had a Hawk battery….a 1960’s weapon system.

Iran has all these SHORAD systems yet they are never around when it matters. Only for war games or Salami to get his promo clip in.

Our nation’s president was missing and we didn’t even have ONE single SAR drone available to look for him. What an embarrassment.

Can you explan to me what is the use of a moving s300 .
A moving s300 is a nonfunctional s300 .
The system need 30m to become operational
A 3rd of khordad become operational in one minute

The system can't fully integrate with the rest of our system
And I previously said that the radar on our airdefence system is more advanced than the ones on s300 or even s400.

The answer for a wall can be understandable

The quadcopter must gain height to pass over the wall and for targeting, radar detection and camera, it is even easier than a lower arrival close to the ground. This is one of the answers that is valid but not the only one
