Syrian Civil War and The future of Syria after liberation

It would be funny if Turkey organized 100,000 of them to Protest and then saying the Greeks want the return of the Ottomans, look they are protesting in favor of it. see this crowd right here, they represent the majority. lol

Thats my point, but sirtaki boy dont get it.

Jesus Christ. Those few people in Latakia jerking off on Assad flyers dont represent popular support for him, because there is none.

Comparing Greeks and Turks and mixing Ottomans with the situation in Syria is completely irrelevant.

Its not, you can mobilize a crowd of minorities or Sycophants in any country for a Photo Op, this does not mean an expression of the will of the majority.

Yes, egypt can only have "democracy" when the people vote the way you want them to vote. lol
No because we are uneducated population. We are جاهلين/ignorants. I am against military rule and their intervention in the economy. Now Egypt must be ruled with an iron fist but with freedoms so we can develop more. You must know that we aren't prepared for democracy. You must know about mentality. Our mentality rn is to survive, normal egyptians want to eat and drink and feed their families, they don't think about democracy.

During Assad's time no Syrian was ever a refugee and the only ones seen in Europe were students and some tourists.

If it was not for international terrorists armed and financed by Turkey/GCC/Zio-US/Zionist entity then Syria would have remained a peaceful and relatively prosperous state.

You know who the rebels were fighting for as they were treated for battle injuries by the Zionist entity and then sent back to fight Assad!

Evidence is simply overwhelming and no one buys the narrative that Turks-HTS have "liberated" Syria from "despotic" Assad.
Man,I knew Syrians when I was studying, back in the mid-2000s. They came here to study, most of them were from good families. I also knew Palestinians.

Syria was pretty good back then, the country was great to visit and live...unless you were against the regime and challenged the Assad rule. Apart from that, you could have a normal or even good life there. Of course a lot of people were poor, but that's everywhere.

The problem is that some make it sound like it was something like North Korea were life is a depressing State-dictated program.

Benevolent Despotism is a farce.

Kleptocrats with no accountability won't leave any bread for anyone to feed anyone.

Stop being afraid or revel in an inferiority complex of thinking that everyone in the world is civil and you yourself are a primitive savage people undeserving of democracy or rule by popular consent..

I didn't say we are primitive savage people, I said that we are ignorant and not prepared for democracy. There is a big difference. That's why I said ruling with iron fist but with freedom and accountability. How you want to install democracy, when people aren't educated enough.

I don't want to derail the thread but inshallah the situation in Egypt and in Syria will be better.

You literally did when you said they are undeserving of democracy. Your whole outlook is you seeing yourself as enlightened in a sea of primitive savages, its part of the internalized inferiority complex and feeling inferior to the west and other nations.

What you are referring to called "Benevolent Despotism" in political Science circles, and its a farce.

There is no such thing as being too "uneducated" for democracy.

There are countries where people don't know how to read or write, where they vote by stamping their thumbs on paper.

Yes I'm sure a Syrian Christian is running that account and totally not an Iranian troll.

Iran wants to play stupid games I see, well lets see if others start playing stupid games. Maybe Jaish ul-Adl and other groups will like to set up camps in Syria. lol

Illiteracy in Egypt is 30% so 30 millions are out of the equation. The middle class (the core of democracy) has disappeared. Now it is either poor or rich
