Iranian Air Force (IRIAF/IRGC-ASF) | News and Discussions

As for the discussion by individual members about using certain components of the Su-35 to upgrade existing F-14, that doesn't make any sense.
That would be my fault, but tbf I didn't think anyone would take my stupid meme seriously

to clarify to others, I was obviously joking lol

anyone who can post constructively without trolling or insulting others is welcome here
Fair enough.

No reason to not post constructively. If you look at the few posts I've made, have expressed my admiration to the Iranian Air Force's ability to maintain a fleet of 50 year old aircraft without manufacturer support or factory spare parts.

Mehdi! Be nice bro. So far the American is relatively nice and well behaved with an ok sense of humor. Anyways. Back to topic before #Persian Gulf bans ALL of us for trolling the tread!
Until I am not. I'm of the age it's just easier to not be as easily bothered as others are.

Anyway, as you said, back to the topic.

it was in the discussion dedicated to drones

it's my guess, but that model shown is something more than a drone, I suspect it will be piloted.
Perhaps the definitive version of the Q-313.

The two air intakes on the back of the aircraft suggest the use of engines with afterburners

if the automatic translator performed well, I think this news is more suitable for this discussion

They write:
On the occasion of the exhibition of the latest achievements of scientists from the country's defense industry, a model of the Qaher fighter was presented to the Leader of the Revolution, and Brigadier General Afshin Khajefard, CEO of the Aerospace Industries Organization of the Ministry of Defense, gave explanations on the current status of this project.

You are again just speculating and not even based on facts! Show us one intake on any other aircraft that has this shape and is for an afterburner!

In fact NONE!

At best it is for cooling something but surely not an air-intake for the engines.

Observing the smiley you inserted in my previous post, I repeat what was written in the PS on another site to a user who has the same nickname as yours
"PS
Furthermore, in my country there is an unpleasant proverb about those who always laugh."

The point is that it's irrelevant if you don't like my comment or smiley; relevant are facts.
And the fact that you constantly post random stuff often hidden as a rhetorical question or that this question or suggestion alone is so much off, is not only strange, it even hurts!

And since you do this constantly it seems, you are not just asking a random question out of curiosity, but in fact you are hoping for support of this theory!

But to think this is an air intake that feds an afterburner or to think the faked image of that alleged "Iranian drone carrier" showing psed-upscaled Q-313 is not funny, not helpful and in fact just embarrassing since it shows you have no clue at all and even like to deliberately misinterpret certain details of faked images!

omg - not this crap again!!! Iran should just say this is a UCAV and leave it at that and walk away from this, but to continue to pretend it is a manned fighter makes no sense. No one else has designed a plane like this, and you have to ask why. What does Iran think it knows about aerodynamics that other more established countries dont know ?
