Elon Musk hints Tesla FSD for China may be possible very soon

Some guy here acting like his is the lost son of musk, long live the King trump and the queen musk, LOOOL.

Tesla's FSD is an utter joke, just learn to accept it and move on, tesla is nothing without China's manufacturing capabilities.

I just hope the US military weaponary are not like the poor joke a.k.a Tesla's FSD.

LOL! 45 minutes of continuous driving on China's roads with the US trained version of Tesla FSD.
I don't see Huawei's or BYD's supa-dupa systems doing that in another country.

Remember this is all computer vision and AI chips making decisions on the car with no radar or LiDAR (which Chinese PDF members scoffed at as impossible). The AI in the car does not need a server to process its calculations. All it needs is a street mapper to know where the destination is...to act like a tourist driving in a new country. This is an amazing accomplishment.

Chinese roads are dotted with speed detectors, lane detectors, and cameras that automatically register traffic tickets on your account. While there is no issue driving on it with US trained version of FSD, it'll rack up tickets like no tomorrow by the time you get home.

Do you know how many traffic tickets Tesla got for this experiment? It obviously screwed up in front of so many Chinese viewers, but you're still bragging about it. Tesla should update the version and re-experiment as soon as possible. There is no doubt that the Chinese market is the most important market for EV brands. If Tesla screws up the Chinese market, it goes and plays with VinFast.

btw:China's urban roads are extremely intelligent and it has cameras everywhere. Your speed, lane of operation, seatbelt status, driver's continuous driving time, etc. are under AI monitoring at all times. If Tesla wanted to drive in China like an American driver, it would get tons of tickets. By the way, tickets in China are sent directly to your vehicle account, no police officer is there to alert you.

This constant defeatist mindset is exactly why the Chinese are usually never the ones to be first in anything. They are the same ones who scream this can't be done without LiDAR...and then see their own auto companies making systems without LiDAR after
witnessing Tesla's success.

No wonder Chinese FSD systems have been so slow to rollout. Meanwhile Tesla owners in the US have been using Beta versions of it since November 2022.

Although apparently that one video was not enough to discourage the myriad of other people in China from continuously posting their videos to youtube every day of how well the US version works in China.

Apparently any "fear of tickets" isn't stopping a flood of videos from being posted every day from people in China using Tesla FSD.

If Tesla is so good then why does the US need to protect Tesla in the US market with 100% tariffs on Chinese cars while China lets Tesla do what it wants in China?

Obviously, Chinese EVs are far better than anything the US has Tesla included. China doesn't worry about Tesla but the US is deathly afraid of Chinese brands.

Everyone in the car industry, including the CEO of Tesla, knows this:

If Tesla was so bad why hasn't Chinese automakers been selling cars in the US for the past decade like Tesla has been doing in China?

Tesla Hands Keys to First China Customer

You had PLENTY of time to enter the US market.
BYD promised cars back in 2009 (remember the Warren Buffet investment)...and then couldn't deliver. Chinese car companies delayed year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year after year.

Sorry digging into history is meaningless. Back in 2014, VW and GM were on top of the Chinese market. Why not point to 1990 when China had no private car brands like BYD or Geely?

The fact is China cars have advanced beyond the US and that is why the US has to tariff but China doesn't. China knows its brands are better. It knows not only that BYD and others are better than Tesla but the Teslas built in Shanghai are better than the ones built in the US.

Look, you can't ignore this. Musk spelled it out. Just read it again, it is in no uncertain terms -- Chinese brands will demolish anything in the US without trade barriers:

Oh I see my "irrelevant whataboutism" is less relevant in this FSD thread than your "irrelevant whataboutism" :ROFLMAO:
