Happens nothing, americans will continue to rip of europe with tariffs, energy without spending money for troops there, i would say win win for americans.
that’s going to nowhere.
that will be the end of US empire.
this move by Trump is expected,
but not that way.

Barack Obama initial plan was to move the majority of military assets to the pacific. for the endgame with China. but the plan was never to destroy friends and allies in Europe. Now that’s just madness from Trump and Musk. Europe has industrial base, US has too little for a great war.

you forget Putin starts the war?

he can end the bloodshed immediately.

I am surprised that no russian stooges, nothing from Orban, nothing from Sachs, nobody blames Putin for killing his own people. where is Scott Ritter?

Would US accept Chinese having military relationships with Mexico ?

so why would it be ok for Ukraine to join NATO ?

Russia is a Global Superpower not some 3rd rate nation

respect them or get ready to face them on the Battlefield

the one who wins decides the terms not the loser

you cant have it both ways

Again, it's NOT giving away seized asset.

That "asset" NEVER would leave the EU, EU basically confiscated it (Which is within their right to do) and put it back into European economic system to compensate for Russian own seizure, similar to how Russia seize EU and US asset at the beginning of the war. No Russian asset will ever be in Ukrainian hand (as they are not part of the EU). Basically EU as a whole will be act as a plaintiff and sue the Russian government for Russian own EU asset seizure. And then use the Russian asset as a compensation.

The asset would then be used to pay off any Military Equipment acquired by EU to replace the equipment they send to Ukraine.

By the way, the US already had passed law to do just that.

Another way is using the Russian Asset as a "security hold" kind of like security deposit to offer Ukraine a loan based on the interest payment for guarantee.

There are probably hundred of ways to use those asset without breaking international law, the question is will EU do that or how they would do it.

It isn’t theirs to decide where it goes. I looked it up, and found this…David kleiman, a researcher and adviser on international law” I believe that the legal action question is relatively clear here, that such an action or such procedures would violate international law”

that’s because they fear russian hooligans and rapists. they seek protection. or you seriously believe the army of Estonia will invade Russia?

the russians are unwelcome.
China is welcome to have military bases in Mexico

Well, I don't know anything about David Kleiman, I know my wife, who is an international law lawyer. She said it is within the framework of United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property

Again, EU would need to sue Russia in EU Court and apply for a seizure order for any state asset to compensation for Russian own effort to seize EU asset. That would give rise to article 19 of United Nations Convention on Jurisdictional Immunities of States and Their Property.

EU is within their right to seize Russian asset as long as those asset was to use as compensation to any financial lost with EU in Russia

The only thing I found on David Kleiman is this article from CBC.

I don't understand the "counterargument" of would US be okay for Mexico to have a military base for China.

Well, first of all, you need to ask whether or not Mexico wanted to host Chinese troop, or China want to post troop in Mexico (They probably not unless they want to deal with cartel directly)

secondly, this is within the right of Mexico to host anyone they wanted, regardless of what US want, if they want to host Chinese troop, does that mean we need to invade them? And finally, Cuba, which is some 90 mile from Florida, DID have a Soviet Base in Havana back in 1960, did the US invade?

US Approves New Russian Ambassador As Major Reset Underway

The two rounds of high level US-Russia talks in Riyadh and Istanbul in the last two weeks appear to already be bearing fruit, as Russia's Foreign Ministry has announced it's received approval from Washington to send Aleksandr Darchiev as Moscow’s new ambassador to the United States.

Current bilateral US-Russia dialogue has been focused on fully restoring relations and putting back in place all embassy staff in Washington and Moscow, respectively. There had been several rounds of hostile mutual booting of diplomats as relations deteriorated under Biden.

According to Russian media, "Darchiev, a senior diplomat with more than 30 years of experience, currently heads the Foreign Ministry’s North Atlantic Department. He previously served as Russia’s ambassador to Canada from 2014 to 2021 and has held several high-ranking positions within the ministry, including deputy director of the North America Department and counselor at the Russian embassy in Washington."

This is no doubt part of the "concrete initial steps" being taken by both sides toward resuming regular contacts and diplomatic engagement, with a higher aim of finding a permanent peace solution to the Ukraine war.

Darchiev’s predecessor, Anatoly Antonov, served as Russia’s ambassador to the US throughout much of the Ukraine crisis and the entirety of the war until now. He ran the Russian embassy in D.C. for seven years, and just recently returned to Moscow.

Just as Moscow is poised for a reset with the US under the new Trump administration, Washington relations with Ukraine are at a low point after Friday's Zelensky fireworks in the Oval Office. Russian media has been busy hailing and welcoming these developments, which may soon result in the following:

US President Donald Trump’s administration is considering ending all ongoing shipments of military aid to Ukraine, The Washington Post wrote citing sources.

Military supplies could be halted "in response to remarks" by Vladimir Zelensky at a meeting with Trump in the White House and "his perceived intransigence in the peace process," according to the publication.

The decision, if made, would apply "to billions of dollars of radars, vehicles, ammunition and missiles awaiting shipment to Ukraine through the presidential drawdown authority," an official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive topic, was quoted as saying.
Ukraine frontlines have already been steadily collapsing, so without a future flow of American heavy weapons, this collapse will only accelerate, and the war would likely reach finality within a few months or less.

President Putin has meanwhile been touting the chance for "major" cooperative economic and diplomatic initiatives with the US under Trump, and as bilateral talks progress. Russia has even offered its own minerals access deal as a possibility of closer cooperation, and as Trump floats potentially dropping sanctions in the future. The next step may be the restoration of direct commercial flights between the two countries.

The Europeans have been cut out up to this point, and certainly the Ukrainians will continue to be sidelined, given what just took place with Zelensky at the White House. The Kremlin will no doubt jump at the opportunity to keep up this momentum of anti-Zelensky sentiment in Washington.

After war, the Russian companies will sue EU& U.K. for giving or using their assets to Ukraine. Government and corporations are different entities. This will put next Uk and European governments& EU and generation in legal issues. Stop act unnecessary action. If we want donate for supporting Ukraine, it must be from our British money. If we don't have money with staggering deficits, stop doing it. Save JOKE UK from future uncertainty. President Macron was clear unless Russians give you permission you cannot touch their monies. I will not add any more going to wait and see what comes out of EU gathering in London on this today.

if China is welcome in Mexico then why did USA invade Granda and Panama and have issues with nuclear missiles in Cuba?

you know this is wrong but you simply hate Russia

yet its the Americans who kill children in Gaza and blame the victims
