Most likely because the small version doesn't have the space in its body to accommodate a retractable landing gear. It will change once the bigger versions are introduced.

I think it is because they are still early and experimental models

I’m not really good with the military speeds etc but I’m going to point this out and press tv isn’t the most reliable they’re off a lot of the times if an aircraft can travel 1000 km an hour the distance the aircraft can fly is 500 km an hour doesn’t that mean flight duration is only 30 minutes at top speed and 250 miles radius doesn’t seem that great I can see if the finish product was something to be used for long range stealthy bombings of other countries targets but Iran has plenty of short range bomber uavs

This is a Chinese UAV sent to monitor SCS and watch American stealth assets. Despite weird shape, it has wonderful and eye catching capabilities

Most important aspect is that it has left MQ-4 behind in terms of flight altitude. It can cruise at high altitudes and hence increase its flight endurance.

500 Km radar detection is an other point and deserves a seperate discussion. What kind of a radar is installed on it that gives it this wonderful detection range? The twin fuselage design has left a big space empty between the two heads of this aerial dragon.

Our Designers and engineers have to keep an eye on its design.

I wonder if we had a similar project?

this guy confuses army drones with IRGC drones

Soo - basically a mockup at best ?!

You could tell from the shoddy assembly.

This program is such a disgrace to our engineers and scientists. 15 years and nothing but toy size RCs.

At this point even NK might develop a fighter jet before us.

Breathe bro. Please try and remember how many times people have complained concerning the purported low quality work of the Iranian MIC. In my opinion Iran sucks at marketing it's military but the products, its drones and missiles, are second to none. I remember when people use to refer to Shahids as noisy RC drones until they basically destroyed half of Ukraine (excuse the slight exaggeration) for pennies on the dollar and now every Tom, Dick and Harry is scurrying to create an equivalent.

I've missed your pessimistic perspective! 😅

Could just be a prototype model?
