For China its to ensure energy security for itself. For Pakistan its to set up large infrastructure to improve business and transportation.

The information I posted is 100% accurate. The small road next to Parichoy Book Stall and Susama enterprises in S. B. VERY interesting, very exciting, at places, very discouraging. Note that the phrase "...at places...was deliberately placed where it is.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read someone who has always been known for balance and for detailed knowledge about his country's military capabilities, now making fanboy comments about the outcome of another Indo-Pakistani conflict! We live and learn.

When Pakistan needed to be taken over - he just got saddled with it and decided to go with it. Munir the “Fruck it!, I’ll do what I can”.

I highly doubt it.

There has been talks about Chinese military access to Gwadar since 2014 when Nawaz Shariff signed CPEC.

With what's happening in the USA and how pro-US the current Pak army administration seem to be, you're more likely to see US base in Pakistan reopening (if it hasn't already secretly) than a Chinese military base popping up any time soon.
