The Saudi and Arab royals prefer USA to China. What is the point of Gwadar ?

For China its to ensure energy security for itself. For Pakistan its to set up large infrastructure to improve business and transportation.

Pakistan should stop playing the role of the butler at the dinner table of the great powers. It should develop an economic Union with Afghanistan, Turkey and Central Asian States on the basis of the European Union model and navigate its path to become a great power instead of hoping to becoming a middle power.
