These are not my demands but what TTP has been claiming over the years for peace. If Pakistan can isolate the extremist elements from the normal population then slowly we can finish this mess but we first must understand what they want and what is the reason they loose 1000s but more 1000s more ready to fight.

He doesn't understand he isn't in Norway. He is in a hostile region and a territory to protect. His soft spot for the Taliban was his achilles heel and the reason why Pakistan is now 2nd in the terrorism index.

Pakistan fought against TTP groups for over a decade but we still were facing a war, this is why Imran Khan said we should negotiate and talk with ttp, listen to their grievances, show the tribal areas people that we are with them, then slowly isolate the extremist elements from the public, and finish the trouble makers. The tribal areas also has 1000s of lashkar fighters and militant groups who are pro Pakistan but we fail to give them effective support to finish off ttp.
 
Where are these pro Pakistan tribal lashkars? We have people on PDF calling tribal areas people bad names but they have sacrificed for Pakistan more than anyone. Our media hardly shares this.

Imran Khan tried to befriend the people of tribal areas, win their hearts, the plan was to isolate the militants, once they loose their narrative they're finished. The current Einsteins only make threats, stop all development funds.

I do agree that it was important to win hearts and minds, I've always disagreed with the sympathy shown to the Afghan taliban that the pti had shown, especially since they were linked to the ttp so clearly.

Even Pmln claimed Taliban are our brothers, aswell as establishment parties such as JI and JUI. For some reason the Taliban have turned away from Pakistan influence, i am guessing big players offered more than Pakistan, ie economy, funds, international recognition or some kind of game is at play. Taliban shows sympathy to TTP because they gave sanctuary to them for 20 years, they trade with each other, give military support etc. Our leadership knew this.

It has nothing to do with big players offering anything.

Even during the previous taliban regimes rule in the 90s, they were quite hostile towards Pakistan, and the two were actually on the verge of war at one point because of talib stupidity.

Fun fact, the Taliban single handedly stopped Pakistan's economic and political ascent in south and central Asia, as they blocked Pakistan's efforts of bridging the two, that would have skyrocketed Pakistan's economy beyond that if India.

This could've been a win-win scenario where afghanistan benefits as well and set in motion for a future for central asia to resemble a post-Marshall plan europe but nope we can't have good things

As such you need to push your own way toward the CA. And, there are now opportunities to do that. Thanks to President Trump, a neo isolationism is being set to roll in the USA. Hopefully, it'll get more and more traction.....

I am pretty sure the Pak Deep State leaves some dead important stuffs for tomorrow but never let them into a trash. Some early signs of their seriousness is visible as the Afgan posts at the borders are being systematically and gradually destroyed one by one.....

Pakistan needs to close the trade across the border for a unforeseeable period of time. It'll automatically depopulate the bordering areas inside Afganistan to an extent, so that a de facto buffer zone can be created. It'll help to carry out pointed strikes without a massive collateral damage....
