Dude, you mean well. But our government cannot cope with EU controls and restrictions. Dozens of hospitals, highways, bridges, airports, etc. have been tendered to businessmen close to the government with the build-operate-transfer model at prices far in excess of their value. Turkey's procurement system cannot comply with EU principles of transparency. The Turkish government will never accept this. In short, under Erdogan we are unlikely to join the EU.Turkey should get rid of its refugees, now that peace has returned in Syria (well, relatively),and than serious accession discussions should be held.

That's wrong. It had been the policy of Greek governments for more than 20 years,to support Turkey's membership in the European Union. They even promoted it as something would help us resolve a lot of problems. When Cyprus got in, it along with Greece tried to leverage its EU membership to essentially kill all cooperation and integration of Turkey into the EU.

Yes,for some weird reason some of our northern European friends, think Turkey should be sold weapons systems so they can copy them and become even more competitive,as well as having Turkey as a weapons dealer for the EU,when they themselves say we must support EU defence industries. Weird Anglosaxons.I think at this point the only potential objections and spoilers are the Greeks, South Cyprus and the French.
This is interesting as the French didn't invite Turkey to the Summit, UK did invite but thats expected. But the Fact that Germany is inviting is significant. Coupled this with Poland and Tusk's visit and endorsement of closer integration of Turkey in European Defense architecture is significant.
Essentially all the other "neutral" states in the EU are not coming to align with Turkey's friends in the EU(Italy, Spain, etc)
