They have nothing to do with you in terms of ancestry, language, culture, history. Unlike Arabs of Levant and Arabia (which are largely the same people as confirmed by all of recorded history and modern-day DNA) as well as geography, language, culture and everything else more or less. To compare this relationship with outsiders that just happen to share religion (a religion that is ours - (Arab/Semitic and native to our lands and region) is laughable. You have as much in common with them as with Christian Congolese. Go meddle in their matters too.
As I said, they form 2% of the population and they were overly represented during the Al-Assad regime. Simple as that. Now they have to accept majority rule. Simple as that.

You were fine with 100's of massacres on mainly Syrian Sunni Arabs (where 10.000's of people died), with the Hama massacre in 1982 (widely reported and acknowledged even by pro-Al-Assad regime supporters in the West), Srebrenica massacre were 10.000 of Bosnian Sunnis died (you have tried to deny this as well) and everywhere were Sunnis are at the receiving end, you are always happy and supporting the opposite side. What a coincidence.
Now you have the audacity to cry when people are happy that remnants of the Al-Assad regime (Nusayri terrorists) who openly called for a revolt (sponsored by the Iranian regime), killed 100's of civilains (their own included) are dealt with, you make sectarian insults and cry.

Technically, the Turks can if they want to.
They won't though, as they don't want a war with Israel.
I can see them eventually manning the border between Syria and Israel on behalf of Syria, to force Israel back across the demilitarized zone in Israeli-occupied Golan, but that i think would be opposed by the Syrian Kurds who are already causing trouble for the new government after signing a unity deal.

That's the whole point though: Erdogan talks big and threatens Israel directly or indirectly,
but has been doing nothing. All the talk about lions and foxes and we'll do this and do that to anyone who compromises the territorial integrity of Syria etc. only to take action against the ragtag bands of Kurds and rebellious Arabs,while avoiding the Israelis who are literally a few dozen miles from the capital.

I am once again referring to the Nusayri terrorists who rebelled in Latakia, Tartus and other areas and killed 100's of Syrian soldiers, civilians (Nusayris and Muslims alike) and who were later dealt with. All of this has been widely documented .The armed gangs which are still (few are left) in hiding and engaged in an armed insurgency. With the active support of the Iranian regime who have made no secret of this support.

This has angered millions of Syrians who want justice for their relatives and justice for 50 + years of untold crimes.
Now due to this climate (no accounting yet as everything is fresh and new just 3 moths after the regime fall), some Syrians have taken revenge into their own hands and some (including people within the HTS and affiliated groups) have committed crimes themselves by killing civilians. Which is unacceptable but at the same time not overly surprising given the past 50 years of history and the Nusayri insurgency which encourages vigilance.
I never supported this behaviour as it is wrong morally, Islamicly and not in conformity with Arab culture. People responsible for crimes in question should be arrested and trialled afterwards.
HOWEVER, the active insurgents/terrorists, I and vast majority of Syrians (just look at reactions on social media), they are open game. No different from Pakistan killing/targetting insurgents/terrorists.
Sect here is irrelevant but the reality is that the only ones that are rebelling are the Nusayri terrorist remnants from the Al-Assad regime. Not Syrian Christians (Arabs and Assyrians) nor other minorities.
Even the Kurds in the SDF have reached an agreement with the Syrian government which is great news and gives hope for Syrian reconciliation.

That is very true..As Turkey plus the GCC and Egypt as well as other Arab countries are pretty powerful militarily, politically and economically..Israel knows it is no much for this coalition without the US backing it.. and eventhough, the US finds itself between a rock and a hard place!
