hopefully Ukraine troops can withdraw safely.
that’s a bitter lesson for Ukraine.
a brazen betrayal by Trump gov
many US weapons in ukraine hands were reportedly blinded, disabled by the US.
before any new Ukraine offensive
Europe needs to arm ukraine army.
the US under Trump is a security threat.
They have to pull back because US is cutting off their intelligence, that's the most at risk area in the whole war and probably the only area they don't need to hold anyway to begin with. It wasn't even Ukrainian land......
The fact that they pull out of Sudzha means they are going to withdraw back to their border because if not, they are going to fight for it, as I said, those position (including Sudzha) can held down for months if they wanted to, but they choose not to, so we can probably see the line adjustment in the next couple of days, and as I said, the back is still clear, which mean at most you are going to lose some rear guard element instead of the lot, but after seeing Russia not managed to capture many Ukrainian unit from their withdrawing from Sudzha, I doubt they can cut the rear guard off and encircle them. Because you only have 1 line between Ukrainian position in Kursk and Ukrainian border. They are already withdrawing, if their back wasn't blocked now, they can never be cut off before their withdrawal is completed. This is just common sense.
Pipeline is not the reason why Ukraine loses Sudzha 3 days ago. And I doubt you can do anything with pipeline because you can't move heavy equipment thru it, I am not even sure if a regular infantry can fit thru an oil or gas pipeline, unless you are making it vehicle size (in a gas pipeline?), which then will stick out like a sore thumb. You can't capture a city with light infantry only.I read your post saying that America's suspense of intelligence was responsible for Russia undertaking the pipeline operation. But that is not true. First of all that is not Russia's first pipeline operation and it takes months to plan, prepare and execute a 16 km pipeline operation. Just to prepare the interior of the pipeline and get the logistics in, prepare the forces and teach them what to do, preparing all the surrounding units to act fast and strong when the operation begins... All that takes months to prepare that's why Ukrainians were unable to hold their lines or regroup because when the operation began, all units act in unison. This is one of the greatest military operations in military history. We are not talking of a 200 meters operation but 16kM . That was quite audacious.

The reason why Ukrainian decided to vacate Sudzha is Urban operation require a lot of intelligence because there are many blind spot Russian can exploit, you can't just capture the high ground or send drone to compensate, and if you do not have sufficient intel, then you WILL BE cut off because you can't maneuver your troop effectively. Meaning if they fight on, the Ukrainian is most likely going to get cut off and lose the entire unit defending the city.
Not the same situation with the rest of Ukrainian Troop in Kursk, because it's a field operation, and you expect the Russian to head from the front, which mean you don't need much intel to fight as blind spot is minimum (Even with drone ISR would have been enough) But I doubt they are going to hold the line as well because you don't have the city in front of you, why doing this to drag on another month or so?
