Chinese 6th Generation Aircraft News & Discussions

I'm talking above Mach 2.5, F22 has top speed of under 2.5 Mach, F22 top speed is Mach 2.2

And look at speed and maneuverability of Mig 31, it has a top speed of Mach 2.8 but a maneuverability of only 4Gs at best sir

13Gs is 13Gs at any speed. The max G load is the defining and constant metric with maneuverability and speed as the variables. The higher speeds will reduce the maneuverability, i.e. the turn rates, to keep the aircraft below max G. For example, if you were to some how throw an F-22 at Mach 7, the max G load will remain 13Gs but the turn rates will drop so as not to exceed the max G.

However, conscious design choices can be made to trade the Max G load for gains in another metric that is perceived to be more important, such as reducing weight to increase altitude and/or speed. I believe that was the case with the Mig-31 and SR-72 as well.

It is missing the J-35 otherwise it would be an excellent image.

Is it confirmed that the tail fins are retractable for the plane in the middle ?
no tail fins only moveable wingtip.

less than three months from maiden flight to second flight, the interval period is less than J20.
You can't use the J-20 situation to make comparisons.
J-20 is China's first advanced fighter. At that time, we had too many new technologies to explore and test. At that time, we also didn't have too many test labs.
Now, we have very many various test labs. A lot of new technologies go through very rigorous testing in the lab stage. They will develop very fast.

According to AVIC experts, their goal is: “We want to develop advanced fighter jets like we make smartphones.”

Chinese smartphone manufacturers, each brand name makes 2-4 new models of smartphones every year.
I'm not asking for much. Several Chinese aircraft manufacturers (CAC, SAC, XAC ......) , I would be excited enough if each company introduced a new model fighter jet every year.
LOL.

It is unbelievable development though. We all thought China will test 6th generation around 2035 time but they beat it by a decade. These 6th generation will be improved slowly over the years and final product will be better. An advance engine is what is missing, a 6th generation fighter jet engine.

Shocking but reasonable after a second thought, as people can see, the country has reach to a new level in tech developemnt on many forefront tech sectors like AI, Robotic, Drone, EV cars, shipbuilding and many more.

The R&D investment, long term plan and huge number of engineers combined and it's time to harvest the fruit.

Indeed, it‘s real …
I had planned to visit my son in Chengdu today. He is studying at the university near the CAC base. Because of other delays, I had to postpone the trip until next week.
Otherwise, I would have been able to see the J-36 in person. unfortunately, I missed the best time.:cry::cry:

no chase plane, retracted landing gear, any other notable changes?

is it even the same 36011 prototype?
