You’re correct it takes years, which is why they began flight testing of near production ready F-47 prototypes in 2019/2020.

The USAF Chief confirmed that final production F-47s will achieve flight before Trump leaves office.

Well of course they are going to say that, every military says their stuff is the best, but thats not a basis for determining things. we will need more details before more reasonable assessments can be made. For example, when the J-20 came out, we were able to observe the engine matter that was a weakness for China, or the Su-57 we were able to see things that would be weaknesses. We know nothing of the F-47 or the J-36 and J-50.

LM is going to be busy for decades with F-35 and NG with B-21 so I'm glad Boeing got their sht together and was able to pull this off. So the haters know Boeing won but they can also ask LM and NG folks for assistance.

Yes we do know it's called history. Reason why US takes forever to deploy a stealth fighter is because they cram as much high tech as possible giving it capabilities unmatched.

F-35 in block 3F is more capable than any fighter out there and it's not even close. PLAAF is not know for high tech capabilities for their fighters and it is not going to be any different with their J-36. US invented the kill web while chyna is barely in its infancy in kill chain capability.
