are you expert in aerodynamic and aviation fields to say there no limitation of DSI to go beyond Mach 2, and do research before spewing nonsense, DSI equipped jet can't go beyond Mach 2, and there is no DSI intakes on J-36 has been so far and DSI intakes is not neccerrory for J-36

Per Lockheed they tested it to Mach 2 but that doesn’t mean it cannot. NASA took it beyond to 2.2 so your statement is blatantly false.

Refinements of the design keep the boundary layer air out and it could theoretically go to Mach 2.5 but at serious loss of efficiency.

Definitely brother J20 can fly faster than F-35 but Mach 2.5 is extremely unlikely may be it has a top speed of slightly above Mach 2 but not Mach 2.5

Harder to fly above mach 2 due to DSI doesnt mean impossible at all.

In that video, it was clearly mentioned that “For one minute, the J-20 fighter jet can combat cruise 52KM.”
