Trump officials accidentally invited the editor in chief of The Atlantic to their Signal group chat. Hours after bombs dropped on Yemen, they partied at a $1-million-per-seat Mar-a-Lago dinner.

Shortly after senior Trump administration officials discussed and celebrated the bombing of Yemen in an encrypted group chat that, unbeknownst to them, included the editor in chief of The Atlantic, a subset of the group feasted at an opulent, secret dinner featuring the president where guests were asked to pay $1 million apiece to snag a seat.

The date was Saturday, March 15. President Donald Trump was at his Mar-a-Lago estate attending a “candlelight” dinner that wasn’t on his public calendar. On the lawn outside, luxury cars were on display: a Rolls-Royce was parked near a Bugatti and a Lamborghini. Guests milled about, taking photographs of each other and the vehicles. Earlier that day, the United States had bombed Yemen, targeting Houthi leadership. At least 53 people, including children, were killed.

This could be true for everyone, including the US. Because once a missile is launch, regardless of how advance your defensive system is, NOBODY can claim they can intercept those missiles 100% regardless on how advance or backward these cruise missiles is.

Look at it this way, if you have a system that can take out 80% of missile a time, that's 2 out of 10 will still hit you, when you are talking about a distributed number, then if they shoot 20 missile at you, 4 will pass thru your defensive screen, and if the failure rate is 50% which mean 2 will hit. And 80% interception rate is very good, you are talking about PAC-3 interceptor have around 55-60% interception rate.

The reality is this, the best missile defence is to take them out before they fire, because once they were fired, it's a combination of defense, tracking and pure luck between getting hit or not.

Not sure what trumpy thinks hel achieve when Biden over a year of bombing the Saudi alliance nearly a decade of bombing couldn't stop the yemenis.

well according to the leaked messages it is purely about restoring deterrence

so they need to drop lots of big bombs and cause lots of big explosions and assassinate a few important people and then claim victory

according to Waltz, European navies don't have the capability to "defend against the types of sophisticated, antiship, cruise missiles, and drones" used by Yemen

If this is true, then all the Houthis have to achieve is the "Blackhawk Down" equivalent. History is the proof that the USA is a paper tiger, and is completely unable and incapabale of taking any casualties.

Sink one US Navy ship and the USA completely withdraws from that region.
