It was unveiled during the Zhuhai Airshow, but few people paid attention to it.

i know it sounds dumb but can y8 airframes be completely overhauled to y9 standards
like flightcontrols
engines
avionics
and whatever there could possibly be replaced

never worth it, the airframe is effectively scrap metal. Gutting and re doing them is hardly ever worth it
